(no proof read, uh, slow updates ig)

the sharp pain in y/n's back was piercing, tears in her eyes as the pain spread further. her eyes blurred as she tried to look around the area, dark and damp. what was more awkward was the fact that there were bystanders staring. it was worse that the brunette had a throbbing headache as well.

y/n groaned and slowly got up, rubbing her head languidly. it didn't matter what the citizens even thought of her, but it was rather embarrassing to just fall out of no where and sit there on the damp ground. all she needed to do was find out the events to happen.

the brunette didn't want to waste as much time, she had little to no information about the city of mora right now and she was resting her ass down on the stone pavement. not to mention it was a solo this time, how difficult would it be without karl? very. very difficult.

y/n was mostly there for assistance, not as a main
character. yet, she still had a part of the mission and was huge help to karl. however, he wasn't there now with y/n in the dark city. to be honest, y/n thought the place was going to be more... bright. yet it wasn't. she pursed her lips, unsure about her surroundings. it made her uncomfortable.

maybe getting up and finding a safe place was good. somewhere private.. so the brunette got up hastily dusting herself off and looking around as she started walking in an even pace. the streets were open, barely anyone outside. what time was it? was there a reason for the place to be so empty at a time like this?

well, y/n wouldn't really know anyways. as she sauntered around for a while, looking for a place to take refuge in, a wall was seen far down the street. she side glanced it, looking around. only a few people were walking pass, luckily minding their own business. i could possibly wander in the forest now. best not to wander off too far.. y/n thought to herself.

contemplating it a bit, the wind blowing past her she sighed and hastily made her way out of the city. not the first thing karl would think of, but y/n had to do it. she wasn't practically ready for this trip.

when she got out of the city, a path was leading into a winding forest, the sounds of birds chirping and the bright colors of flowers wafting in the bushes. the sound of rustling trees were heard, the silent sound of air gusting in the wind. though, now was not the time to take in scenery.

though, outside of the walls seemed.. more peaceful. like it had more life than inside of the city. y/n looked back thoughtfully. the place sure looked dull... was it always like this? not pure and bright like her current home? though she won't have time to think for now.

currently was the time for focus. to figure out where to go from this point on. taking a step forward, she proceeded to think over a plan on what to do after she read the files. think about the possible task. maybe even have some assistance in this world if possible..

though she couldn't even have peace after the sound of distant footsteps were heard. the brunette looked up from the ground, looking to see that she was farther than she thought she was from the city. muffled sound was heard... hooves? the rustling wind made it harder for the brunette to hear, but she was sure it wasn't good.

she walked in a faster pace as the footsteps and hooves were heard clearer. y/n looked around, her heart pounding in her chest. a flash of brown and silver glinted through the trees.

her eyes widened as she saw multiple men and women with white glinting armor, a gold insignia plating the front and the shoulder plates. they rode horses, some walking beside them. the clinking of silver was loud, y/n could've passed out right there and then if she didn't have the initiative to move her legs.
