window misty, the outside fogged up due to the stained glass. the blonde looking out longingly sighed and looked off to his side where his brown haired brother sat busily writing away. there was no point staying in the room anymore. "i'll be heading off now, do whatever your busy with, i don't care" he grumbled as his brother didn't pay any mind to him at all.

it irritated tommy highly that his brother wouldn't pay attention to him. after he had to take the role as king he's been so busy with paperwork. not to mention that his other brother figure has been out more than he should..

the blonde sighed as he walked down the silent winding halls, the marble as clean as it always was. red carpet lined every step he walked, his footsteps echoing around him. the day was same as always. the only thing that ever gave him adrenaline was when he was with his friend tubbo.

though, right now it was early in the day. there was no way he would be around yet. not to mention he also had his other friend ranboo, though he hadn't really talked to him as much. tommy would really like to get out though regardless of how early it was. the morning dew made him shiver though, and the amount of people who would be out by now would be horrendous.

he could never go out without being barraged at with people asking multiple questions. maybe he could sneak out.. possibly try to find tubbo's bunker where they would always hang out. though he really didn't want to bother yet.

as he walked down the long stairs to the entrance of the castle, he spotted the gates looming near. chirps of birds could be heard outside through the deathly silence. it's not like anyone would care anyways, it was often he just wandered off.

with no hesitation, he grabs a coat that he usually hung near the door and pushed the heavy door open. the breeze brushed against his skin, the morning air entering his lungs. maybe he can head down to the river, pick some flowers.

he sauntered past the gate and turned dead left. it was best to avoid everyone for now. many thoughts went through his mind as he hastily walked to the edges of the city. the thick trees leaves waved through the wind. it calmed him in a way. the branches and leaves crunched under his feet as he looked down solemnly.

after his dad, the angel of death, had left with no trace, his life has been so.. bland. without ranboo and tubbo he honestly wouldn't have known what he would do with his life. of course he could've trained to fight, though hasn't he learned enough? reading books already bored him. there was just no excitement in life as there was when he was a kid.

though, farther away sat the two, the ram laying on his back in the water. y/n sighed and laid back behind the tree. "so.. does he do this often?" she asks ranboo who was quietly reading the book the brunette gave him.

he side glanced y/n and nods, "he always likes to take a dive even though i tell him he'll get a cold. but we'd usually bring tommy with us" ranboo explained. y/n cocked an eyebrow.

"who's tommy?" she asks curiously. ranboo pursed his lips. "well, since your doing work with the royal family i thought you would've know who he was by now. though, since you don't know.." the two toned sighed. "he's the youngest prince. well, the only one now" ranboo explained. y/n's eyes widened.

"don't they do work with mizu? are you sure it's so safe to be friends with him, even to hang out with him?" she asks worriedly. ranboo chuckled and nodded, flashing a reassuring smile. "he acts like he hates us, but we know that he's a kind person. he doesn't like being affiliated with the city of mizu.." he muttered as he shut his book.

"he says it puts a bad name on him. in all honesty, he's a great guy" ranboo smiles. y/n fondly grins at the thought. maybe it would be easier to talk with the prince. after all, all she needed to do is get affiliated with at least one or two of the royal family..
