best friends (Makoto x Reader)

You and Makoto where best friends since you where 6 years old and because you struggled to get up in the mornings and where constantly late for school Makoto decided to wake you up in the mornings and the two of you would get haru and go to school.

You fell in love with the kind giant but you kept your feelings hidden because you didn't want it to ruin your friendship. The only people who knew about your crush was Gou.

You where laying down peacefully in bed enjoying the warmness when you heard a soft knock at the door *knock knock* "(N/N)-Chan" (A/N: N/N= nick name)

Called a familiar voice that you loved. You got up and rubbed your eyes "I'm coming in" said Makoto and he opened the door to see you in a bunny onsie

You sat up "ah.. mornin' Mako-chan" you said in a sleepy tone while rubbing your eyes you opened your eyes and smiled at him making him blush

"I'll wait for you to get dressed" he said and went downstairs blushing like crazy at your cuteness

You got dressed in your school uniform and went down stairs to see (F/F) you smiled happily "Waaa!! Mako-chan!! Thank you!" You said and took a big bite

"Mmmm... Fits fo fummy!" You said with food in your mouth and Makoto chuckled. When you finished the two of you went to go get Haru and after dragging him out of the bath tub and waiting for him to cook his mackerel the three of you went to school

**after school**

You headed to the pool to see Makoto and a girl who looked pretty "a confession?" You asked worriedly and you felt a pain in your chest "Tachibana-kun I love you, please be my boyfriend" she said while blushing

Makoto politely declined and you ran away when you saw him walk towards the door and you ran into Haru "ah.. Sorry Haru-chan.." You said and gave him a forced smile

Before you could run away he held your wrist "we've been friends since we where six. I know when something is wrong, Tell Haru" he said and patted your head

You nodded and you told him about what happened "and.. I'm worried the same thing is going to happen to me.." You said with a sad expression

Haru sighed "(N/N)-chan you should confess, you guys are both oblivious. I've known that you've liked each other for a long time now. Just be free and date already" he said and you blushed

"W-Wait! He likes me too?" You asked and he nodded "in fact I'd say he loves you" he replied and you turned beet red "thanks Haru-chan!" You said and ran off to go confess to Makoto

You ran down the hall and saw him. You sprinted to him and jumped onto his back he carried you "hi (N/N)-chan!" He said happily

"Let's go to practice" you said and he nodded and carried you on his back to the pool

When Makoto was changed you motioned for him to come to you and he did "is something wrong?" He asked and sat next to you

Everyone was in the water playing around so nobody could hear what you where about to say

You blushed "Makoto.. Umm.. I-I love you.. For a long time now actually" you said while playing with your skirt

He blushed and hugged you "I love you too (N/N)-chan and for a long time now too" he said and you blushed

He pulled away and kissed you on the lips "be my girlfriend?"

You smiled "of course!" You answered and he kissed you on the lips again
