You had fainted at school today. You knew that you didn't have much time left. You didn't want Makoto to find out this way... You didn't want it to be this way.
He looked into your eyes and caressed your cheek softly."Makoto, I'm s-"
"Why didn't you tell me?" He said, cutting you off. He had a pained expression on his face. You took a deep breath, you didn't want him to find out like this. Not yet.

"Why didn't you tell me you are dying?" He said as he wiped some stray tears that were rolling down his cheeks. You looked up at the white ceiling and closed your eyes.
"I'm sorry Makoto... I'm...dying. I don't have much time left" you said as tears escaped. Makoto pulled you in for a hug and you explained to him what was really going on.
"I'm so sorry, {YourName}. I'll be here for you, I promise." He said as he strokes your hair. "I love you so much, {YourName}" he said
More tears rolled down your cheeks and you hugged him tighter. Breathing in his scent because you knew you wouldn't be able to do this anymore.
He kissed your forehead and then your lips. Savouring this moment because he knew he wouldn't be able to do things like this forever.

Makoto has been coming to visit you during the past few days and you've been getting worse and worse. Makoto knew you weren't going to make it and so did you.
Makoto rushed over to the hospital once he got a phone call from them. The nurse had contacted him because today was your last day...
Makoto rushed into your room and burst into tears as he saw you. You were practically dead already.
He walked up to you and took your hand into his. You looked up at him and took off your oxygen mask.
"Makoto..." You said weakly as tears threatened to fall down your cheeks.
