One Sentence (Rin x Reader) Part 1

You looked at the text messages on your phone from your friend Rin. He has had a crush on you for awhile now and has been trying to get you to date him for so long

You sighed as you turned your phone off. "Why does he even like me?" You thought to yourself and ruffled your hair in frustration. Rin was a good friend of yours. Did you like him? As much as you didn't want to admit it. You did like him, a lot actually. You were the type to avoid things like love and dating but Rin messed that up for you by making you fall for him

"What should I do (Friend Name)?" you asked as you explained the situation to her. She was new to the school but the two of you got a long very well and you guys were inseparable. She laughed as she linked her arms with yours "you seem to like this Rin guy a lot hm?" She said and giggled when she saw you blush

"W-Well yeah" you stuttered "what's stopping you from dating him then?" She looked up at you since she was a bit shorter and you sighed "well he's do indecisive. I mean, one moment he says he likes me and then another he says he doesn't know how he feels and vice versa" you explained and she nodded

"Well {YourName} I'm here for you if you need anything, ne?" She said with a smile and tears formed in the corner of your eyes "UWAH! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH {FRIENDNAME}~" you sobbed as you hugged her "screw it! I'm just gonna marry youuuu~" you said and didn't care for the looks you were getting from the other students in the hall

"you should tell him how you feel {YourName}, you guys will make a cute couple ~" she said and you hit her arm "s-shut up!"

"But you can't because you're too tsundere~ bye! Love ya!" She chirped as she ran to her next class before you could protest

"Geez. This girl" you said with a giggle

You decided that you were going to tell Rin how you felt. You told him to meet you at the park after school and you fixed your hair as you waited for him by a large sakura tree

You smiled to yourself as you felt your heart beat faster. "I can't believe I'm doing this!" You said in your head and you saw him walk over to you with a smile

"Hey {LastName}-chan" he said with a smile and you returned his smile "hey Matsuoka-kun" you said awkwardly

"Is there something you wanted to say?" He asked making you blush as you realized that you were about to confess to a guy for the first time in your life

"U-Um yes! You see I.. I thought I should let you know- you know.. I-I like you" you stuttered and he sighed "wait did he just sigh! Oh no.." You said in your head

He looked down into your eyes rubbed the back of his neck with his hand "thanks for telling me. But I just don't know how I feel right now. I'm really sorry {YourName}"

You felt the little pieces of your heart break and you held back your tears

Were all of the things he said lies? Were all of the love confessionsa joke? How could he do this? He said he fucking loved you and begged you to date him. You didn't make him wait long... You finally felt the same way... You thought he was better than this
