Stepping out of the movie theaters , your eyes adjust to the sudden brightness of the sun as rays of light beam onto both you and Gou. She squints her eyes to help see a bit better as she looks up at you with a smile.
Today was your first date with the girl you've liked for years. Because of how close the two of you were as friends, you always kept how you felt about her a secret. Although oblivious to her, it was extremely obvious to those around you. It was easy to spot by the way you looked and spoke to her. Your face would light up instantly whenever you saw her. You spoke so fond of her when she wasn't around, and always stuck close to her. After months and months of suppressing your feelings, you finally decided to tell her how you felt. And much to your surprise, she had actually felt the same way the whole time.
And thus, here you are on a beautiful day with an equally as beautiful girl, on a wonderful date.
"I was gonna say we should walk around and maybe get some ice cream but this weather is killing me!" Says Gou as she fans herself with her hand. "Its so hot!"
I think you're hot... Is what you'd like to say in this moment but you stop yourself from doing so in worry of making her feel uncomfortable. After all, it was only your first date.
"I have ice cream at home, wanna continue our date at my place instead? We have good AC and my brother (Rin) won't be home yet." Suggests Gou.
"Heh, taking me home on the first date? How scandalous~" you reply in a teasing tone. You both laugh and make your way over to her house.
As she leads you to her place, you can't help but notice your hand brushing against hers as the two of you walked. During the entirety of the movie, you had been contemplating trying to find the perfect moment to hold her hand but you were too shy. And by the time you had mustered the cutrage to do so, the ending credits had already started to roll.
