Today is Mian's first day at Mingde and the pressure that she is putting herself to make sure she leaves her mark this year is huge. This is honestly the most important part of her life. These 4 years will determine if she gets to start living in her dreams or not. This is going to be her happiness and whatever she experiences will be the start of her adulthood. She wants to prove to her parents and the rest of the world that she is an independent lady and that she is responsible enough to do whatever she wants, without the help of anybody.
This obviously means that you have to be responsible enough to get your own groceries, which now that Mian is looking in her fridge she realizes that she has none. You see, the difference between Mian and most rich children in the world is that she never asks her parents for money when she needs something, she always wanted to work for it. So, when she was in high school she started to look for jobs and places to live so she could start doing everything on her own right when she turned 18, but, sometimes she regrets it because of moments like these where she realizes that she can't do the simplest things like buy herself groceries.
Mian decides to skip her breakfast and instead just go straight to school. You may think that she could just stop somewhere and get some food but, she takes the bus and doesn't really have time to do that because she might end up late to the bus. For that exact she runs straight to the bus stop pays for her ride and takes seat. Now she is finally on her way to Mingde.

Mian finally makes it to the school and she can't believe it, it looks way better than what she expected. Mian is in such awe that she just stares at it admiring the beauty that is now the place where she will be learning more about not only her passion, but, also herself. This is where she will finally show the world who she is. This is going to be the place that Mian welcomes her adulthood. It would also be the place where she shows off her confidence, after she helps the person that she just fell into.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry." Mian says in a panic trying to help the person up.
"No no no, its completely fine it was my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going." The person says getting up.
"It's fine it really was my fault." Mian says, "Here let me help you." Mian starts helping the person pick up the books they just dropped. After she helps the person pick up their things she finally gets a good look at them. It's this really short girl the size of a mushroom. "Again sorry about that. Um... lets start over. Hi my name is Mian, what's your name?"
"I'd like that and hi my name is Dong Shancai ." The girl says.
