(A/n: look how adorable please omg they're so precious. I hope they're doing okay as well as the other members 🥺)
Donghyuck shut the lights off in the bathroom and walked back into his room. He grabbed his workout bag which contained his equipment: his hand wraps, gloves, shinguards, mouth piece, groin protector, everything he needs for his MMA training.
He threw his bag over his shoulder as it only had one strap and slid on his socks. Just as Donghyuck was about to exit his room, Ten walked in.
Donghyuck stared at his papa until he could not hold the eye contact anymore, eyes filled with guilt as they were fixated on the ground. However, Ten seemed to ignore that and move on, informing Donghyuck that it was time to go.
"We're leaving now. Come downstairs and into the car when you're ready, alright?" Ten softly spoke and Donghyuck felt his body relax a bit.
Donghyuck looked back up at his papa again, nodding slowly and Ten showing a small smile before stepping out of his room.
Donghyuck left his room, making sure to turn everything off and went downstairs. It seemed as no one was left inside the house and everybody was already in the car.
Just great.
He slipped on his sneakers and stepped outside, making sure the front door was locked. He inhaled deeply and exhaled before speed walking to the car, opening the back door and sitting inside, making sure to buckle his seatbelt in before placing his bag on top of his lap.
"You're always the last one. I'm going to have you start getting ready earlier because this can't keep happening," Johnny complained, pulling out of the driveway and heading towards their gym.
Donghyuck mumbled a quick 'sorry' as he turned his head to stare outside the window, watching the objects, trees, and buildings fly past the car.
All Donghyuck does is do everything wrong. He can never catch a break and can never hear a praise coming from either of his parents.
He's always the first person to mess something up and it never fails to happen every chance he gets.
Through the entire car ride to their gym, their dad kept complaining about how they need to be ready earlier.
"We can't keep doing this. I own a business and it doesn't look good for me to show up late," Johnny continued on, Ten grasping Johnny's thigh tightly.
'It also doesn't look good to treat your son like shit, but yet here you are,' Donghyuck said in his mind, rolling his eyes.
"Enough," Ten warned Johnny in English and the man stopped his complaints for now.
"What are you rolling your eyes back there about?" Johnny questioned, looking through the mirror hanging in front of the windshield.
"I was making funny face at Donghyuck," Jisung answered almost instantaneously, knowing that something like this would happen as he was prepared for the worst.
Jisung didn't just want to sit there and watch his older brother get scolded at for no reason. Okay, maybe there is a reason because it is disrespectful to roll their own eyes at their parents. But in Donghyuck's case, he rightfully did so.
Donghyuck looked at Jisung, silently thanking him in his head and Jisung only smiled at him.
Johnny hummed before the car tires touched the parking lot of the gym, a few cars already present before them. Johnny sucked his teeth in annoyance and got out of the car, making his way towards Ten's side and opening the passenger door.
