Wilbur was becoming impatient. As strong as Dream was his offspring's power took too long to scale. Its been five minutes and his supposed 'trackers' haven't emerged from his body yet. He crossed his arms and glared at Ranboo who was deep in concentration.
"Shit like this takes time mate. Didn't I tell you that abilities like his take more energy?"
"But still, I'd think it shouldn't take this long." Wilbur said.
Philza hummed, "Just wait a moment, i'm sure they'll come about now." And he was right.
Emerging from Ranboo's skin came glassy green eyeballs with slit pupils. They seemed to drip out of his skin in reverse, hardening and becoming spherical after. Upon the realization they were out they began to nuzzle the boy and chirp happily. How they could make noise without mouths was an enigma in of itself. Though, they were also floating so it shouldn't have been much of a surprise.
Taking his phone out he showed them the picture of Tommy. "See him?" Ranboo said, pointing to it. "Find him for me please." The orbs flocked to the device and seemed to nod in understanding. They flew to a window only to clash with the glass, the confused eyes bonked the window for a bit until they rushed back to the group for guidance.
Wilbur noticed the poor creatures predicament and rushed to open the window while laughing. "There you go little guys." he giggled. Chirping in appreciation they flew out into the sky, eventually becoming tiny dots as they zoomed away into the distance.
Closing the window Wilbur walked back to the rest of the group. "When are they going to find them?" he asked, eyes gleaming with barely contained excitement.
Ranboo shrugged, "Depends on how far away they are. But don't worry, once they find them they'll signal me through the bond and i'll immediately know where they are." All three members nodded.
Philza pat Ranboo's back, "Alright mate seems like your job is done. Give us a call when they find them ok? We'll call your sire to pick you up."

The sickening sound of vomit splattering onto the floor filled the room. A mixture of blood, bile, and other bodily fluids flooded out of Tubbo's mouth as he heaved over the bed. Tommy gasped, immediately rushing to his friends side, panic bubbling up in his chest. "Oh my god Tubbo are you ok?" He exclaimed, horrified at the scene unfolding before him. But Tubbo couldn't respond, only a slurry of gags and coughs was all he could muster as the remaining fluid left his body. By now most of the floor was covered in the putrid substance. The once white sheets of the bed were coated in a thick layer of it, oozing onto the floor below.
Tubbo coughed, wiping the blood off his face, "I don't think that's my blood Tommy."
Tommy stared at the swirls of red and translucent fluid painting the floor. "I don't think so either big man." His eyes locked with Tubbo's, "Guess you just wasted my blood huh?" Tommy said, a dry laugh escaping his lips. Trying to stomach the sight before him he continued, "You should have digested my blood, are we missing something? Another fucking problem to add to the list huh?" Both boys couldn't help but think they wouldn't get out of this one. Tubbo shook his head.
"I don't know. But if one things for sure we're-" Tubbo froze. He shakily raised an arm to point to the window, "Tommy what's that?" he said. The blond whipped his head to see an eyeball peering into their window.
"What the fuck!" Tommy shrieked as he ran to the window, slamming it open. But the little green fuck was already gone. Cursing, he stuck his head out and looked around to see nothing. He ran back to Tubbo, "It's probably one of theirs, we have to go now." He began to hastily grab whatever essentials they had and stuff them into his backpack. Tubbo tried to get off of the other side of the bed but collapsed on the floor; he was too weak to stand. The lack of food intake as well the rigor of the transformation took a toll on his body. Tommy ran to Tubbo and hauled him up and onto his back. At this point Tubbo though the blond was taking it too far, he was tired, so tired. Wouldn't it be easier to just give up? Tubbo thought so.
"Tommy, please," he pressed, too tired to fight any longer. "Just give up, you know we can't run for long," Tommy ignored him and began traversing the maze of alleyways he knew so well. Tubbo clung weakly to his neck and sighed "Were done for for gods sake. Where are we gonna go?" He paused, "If I go with him and you with them then maybe we'll be able to visit each other." This did nothing but make Tommy grit his teeth and growl.
"No fucking way am I surrendering you, or me, to those goddamn bloodsuckers, they can suck my dick for all I care!" he snapped.
"I didn't know you felt that way Toms," a voice interjected. Tommy froze, fear crawling up his spine and buzzing in his chest as he slowly turned to meet the owner of the voice.
There Wilbur stood, hands casually in the pockets of his coat as he walked up to them. His blood red eyes lazily found themselves onto Tubbo, who was still clinging onto Tommy's back. "There you are! Schlatt's been awfully grumpy since the stealing of his precious changeling," he exclaimed. Tubbo only buried his head further into Tommy's shoulder.
"No, no, no, no" Tommy cried. "How did you get here so quickly?"
"Did you seriously think that just because you noticed it then it had not been there for hours? We saw what happened, you could have killed your friend if we hadn't gotten here sooner. Gremlin, stop throwing your tantrum, it's time for you to come home. We have someone who's been dying to meet you" he chirped. Turning to Tubbo he started again "As for you, Schlatt will be pleased to know his changeling will be back and safe in his arms."
Wilbur reached out to grab them only to be met with air as Tommy began to sprint away, desperation taking over his logic as he turned into the next corner. Wilbur only sighed and let out a chuckle. If Tommy wanted to do this the hard way then so be it.
"Stop running Tommy, " he ordered and watched Tommy cease his movement, frozen. "Come here, and stay" he said, and Tommy did, slowly walking towards Wilbur. A look of betrayal washed over Tommy's face as he came to a halt and Wilbur felt slightly guilty. But his baby brother was being irrational and he needed to pacify him.
Now sure there was no possible way of escape, Wilbur took out his phone and texted Philza. He gave him the street name and address, requesting he come quickly. Afterwards, he looked back down to Tommy and said "You will not move a single muscle as I pick you up child." He then separated and picked the boys up, slinging them over his shoulders.
Tubbo muttered a strained 'I told you so' and promptly passed out from exhaustion.
