CH 14

Jayden...

It's been over a month now things are good and everyone is happy. Lena and I have gotten much closer. I told her that the night before we came to get her that I had prayed to the moon goddess that I would make things right between us and to keep her safe.

I'm in the office and just got off the phone with Alpha Mathew. He told me that he saw Ty and some of his Rogues wandering around the border again. Ty asked if he had seen us or if we came through his land. He told him no so that he can keep his pack safe. Ty also told him that if he finds out that he helps us in escaping that he would kill everyone in his pack.

Alpha Mathew and I are not worried about that because he has no proof that he helps us. We also had problems with Rogues around our area and now that they are aware of our packs combine together they don't even try to cross over to my land.

Ayden has regular people working on his land; they are pretty much clearing out the burn areas and when they are done with that. I'm going to have a few of my men train Ayden men in how to rebuild homes for their pack. My family has been in constructions since my grandpa was Alpha.

There was a knock at my door, "Yes?"

"Hey baby I wanted to see if you wanted to come and eat with me and the kids," Lena walk up to me with a beautiful smile on her face. "That sounds great," I kissed her cheek.

She grabs my hand and we both walk out of my office going towards the dining room in the packhouse. Lena and I were laughing because as soon as we walk in the kids were excited calling out for me, "Alpha...Alpha.....Alpha......" I shook my head. "Alright, who's hungry?" "Me....me....me....me.....!" all the kids were screaming that is when my aunt and Jason mom walk in with plates of food. "We are having some pigs in the blanket, carrots, and slice of apples," Lena announce to all of us.

They set the plates in front of them and one of the kids said, "I don't see any pigs inside the blankets and Me, Lena, my aunt and Jason mom burst out laughing. The kids look at us funny and that is when Lena explains to them. "Sweetie.....you see this," she picks up the hot dog that is wrapped with dough. "This is what they call pigs in a blanket.....it is a nickname that people gave and we were not laughing at you. Just so you know.....we would never laugh at you. It was just funny how you said it, sweetheart," she winks at the little boy named Benny.

We have six little ones with us, ages from 3 to 5 yrs old. The rest of the children in the pack go to regular school. The thing my dad taught us all was that yes we have an animal as part of us and we have to learn to tame our animal by interacting with regular people.

Like most of the Rogues they run fully on animal instinct, they have no heart and try to hurt anyone that crosses their path. That is why my dad made sure we always had our guards up and how to protect ourselves.

Our lunch was enjoyable and I love it more now that my Lena is home, "Hey what are you smiling about?" Lena places her hand on mine. I look up to her, "I'm just so happy that you are home and our lives are moving forward together," I lean in and kiss her cheek.

I was running along the perimeter with Jason, we wanted to check in with the guys and we saw Ayden talking with the guys.

Jason and I shifted back then started walking towards Ayden and the guys, "anything new?" I asked. "They are back again, but this time, there were 3 more with them and none of them look like Ty. They just left when you came running up to us," Ayden said.

"He is going to come back and try to get Lena back...." I said angrily.

"That's not all, according to some of my workers on my land, they said they spotted wolves running around and then run off," Ayden said not happy about what's going on.
