Jayden...

There was chaos everywhere, a lot of us in the pack were getting killed. A pack of Rogues attacked us, and there were at least 60 Rogues. We were afraid this might happen, we heard that there was a pack of Rogues attacking small packs. No one knew why they were doing that. My father had told me they started out in the east of the States and were working their way to the West.

"Jayden it's time to leave hurry.......follow your uncle and aunt," my father mind linked me.

"Dad I can handle this," he cut me off.

"NOW JAYDEN!" he booms loudly in our mind links.

This sucks, I said to myself.

"There you are, come on Jayden we gotta move now," my uncle grab me, I can see my aunt in the car waiting.

"Whoever is still alive leave now find a way to the cave, I'm sorry that I couldn't keep you all safe........Jo, please keep our son safe. We love you, son," as soon as my dad was done talking to his pack, everyone felt the pain in their hearts.

My dad and mom were killed.

I screamed so loud that I heard nothing coming out of my mouth. I saw my aunt jump over the seat and held me.

I woke up with a bad headache I grab my head, and then I open my eyes. Where the hell am I at? I see my aunt and uncle sitting there looking at me. My aunt looks like she has been crying with her puffy red eyes. I was kind of getting dizzy and I fall back on the sleeping bag.

Then I jump right up still feeling dizzy because my wolf was just telling me that our parents were dead.

"Sweetheart its okay we are here," she wraps her arms around me.

"Mom.....dad there gone," I said softly whimpering.

"Here sweetie, take this," I grab the pill and drank some water, after 10mins I was out.

We drove to the garage; it's a piece of land that had a building that was fenced in. This land is now owned by Jayden now that my best friend is gone everything is handed down to his son. Damn this shit hurts, my best friend and his mate are gone, we have known each other since we were kids.

My wife puts her hand on mine, I look up at her, "it's okay baby I'm here for you." Her touch calms me down. I wanted to cry but I couldn't right now I have a pack to think of. I'm not an Alpha, but a Beta, I know what needs to be done and right now I need to hurry and get Jayden into hiding.

We got to the garage I unlock the gate and my wife parks the car in the back. I lock the gate back up and then we go into the garage.

I saw Jo and his mate car that means they are here with Jayden. I just wish I knew where my son was at. We lost contact with him and we know he's not dead because we would have felt it. I'm glad my two oldest daughters are not here, they had found their mates a year ago and now living with them.

I open a door that has steps going down to a basement.

"Okay I'm going to shift and I want you to slide the bag on my back," my mate nodded yes to me.

This underground takes us across the state line to Nevada. Our Alpha and his father had this place for years and made sure no one but our pack knew about it. The cave is in Nevada side, and in wolf form, we will get there in 10mins. If we had walked it would take us about 20mins. The tunnel is dark all the way till we get there, and with our eye site, in wolf form, we can see in through the dark.
