Jayden...

It's been a week and I was completely healed up. I've been getting texts from Lena every day asking how I was feeling.  I had called her that night her brother came down to help us out with the Rogues situation.

A week ago

"Jayden is this you?" When I heard her voice it was unbelievable. "Yea its' me, look your brother was telling me that you are coming out and I don't want you to come," which deep down inside me I wanted her here. "Oh...umm sure no problem, thanks for calling and letting me know. I guess I'll talk to you whenever......bye," she sounded like she was about to cry, and I felt her hurt. "Wait, right now I just think it's not safe for you to be here, with what everything going on here. We don't have a lot of protection." I was cut off when Jennifer walks in, "here your dinner Jayden, oops I didn't know you were on the phone," she gave me an apologetic smiled.  "Thanks, Jennifer, just set it there and it's okay," I smiled at her. Jennifer had this excitement in her eyes because she just found her mate.

"Thanks for calling me Jayden.....I...I...gotta.....go," and she hung up on me. That was strange I thought to myself, so I text her.

Why did you hang up I wasn't done talking to you? Send...

She responded, sorry really busy talk to you later...

Today...

It was weird, so now she texts me saying hi and hope that I'm okay and that's it. There was a knock at my door, "come in."

"Hey ready to leave this place..." Ayden walks in smiling.

"Ready as ever," I said as Jason walks in too.

"Good, let's go for a run so that I can show what's been set up around the borders," Jason sounded excited.

My phone went off.....I got a text.

I will see you soon and tell your g/f I'm coming after what is mine!

"What the hell? Lena just texted me telling me she is on her way and she thinks I have a girlfriend. She is coming after what is hers? Ayden what's going on......why does your sister think I have a girlfriend?" I was confused.

"I don't know, what did you say to her when you spoke to her a week ago?" Ayden asked.

"She asked to come out and I told her that it wasn't safe for her to be out here because of the Rogues, then Jennifer walks in bringing in my dinner and that was it," I was still confused.

"Wait, did Jennifer talk to you while you were on the phone with Lena?" Jason walks up to me.

"Well, yea she brought me my dinner, why?"

"She probably thought you had moved on and now you have Jennifer as your girlfriend," Ayden growled.

"Calm down, why haven't you told your family that you found your mate," Jason glares at him. 

"Shit!" Ayden said it out loud. "I will call them now," Ayden walks out to call his family.

"How did you put that all together?" I asked him.

"Mannnn.....you are going to be a great Alpha, but when it comes to females you are completely stupid Jayden," Jason shaking his head.

"Well, Lena just made things more complicated," I turn to grab my water bottle.

"No, you did. You should have just forgiven her and things would be different today," Jason walks over and sat on the bed.

"Oh, Mr. expert here," I said sarcastically and that is when Ayden walks back in.
