"Ouuu, I'm so excited!"
"I know Mi amor, I know." He wraps his arm loosely around the small of your waist and continued forward, crossing the street.
"This is our first party together in so long, ah! We're gonna have so much fun!!" The h/c said jumping up and down, face in a permanent big smile. Miles couldn't mask the smile that laid on his face seeing you so happy about a party.
The two walk through the doors of the big house. And the girl lights up, her big doe eyes scan the crowd for two people, "VALERIE! IMAN!!!" The girl shouted running over to the two girls that were just as excited to see her.
"Y/N!!"
The three girls hug for the longest time, not even caring that they were drawing attention to themselves, who cares? They had each other that's all that mattered.
"Guys it's been so long, I missed ya'!!"
The three continued to talk among themselves, unknown to them the that their respective partners were watching them from a distance. "Miles, how are things with you and Y/n?" The boy sighs. And just like that his mood changes.
"Soo? Drinks?"
"Is that even a question?"
"Wait guys I have a class in the morning-" The other two girls cut her off, in unison, "You always do Imani." The two laugh while the other sighs. "Okay, fine. I'll skip- JUST THIS ONCE, OKAY?!"
"Woohoo! Fun Imani is out to playyy!" The two girls chant. Imani just rolls her eyes and sighs once more. "Do you guys want the drinks or not?"
"HELL YEAH—"
"Things are going good, I mean-" He pauses, and his face falls. "Ah fuck it. She's moving." Miles forces out. Not even trying to pretend like everything is falling apart.
"Moving? Why is that a problem I'm lost dude."
Miles sits down at some near by lounge chairs his two friends following him in toe, they sit down across from him. "She got a great job opportunity and, and she's leaving me, it's in New jersey." Holding his head in his hands he can't help but curse under his breath, shuting his eyes he takes a deep breath.
New jersey.
New jersey, Y/N?
Miles picks his head up and his eyes find you across the room. And you're glowing. Being around your friends, the people you love most always gives you this glow, and Miles can't help but always get lost in it when his eyes find your figure.
