Chapter 6

After Annabeth hung up, Thalia slipped her cellphone into her backpack and started to walk to her second class.
"Um, Thalia, excuse me. I'm still here." A blonde boy reminded her. Picking up his pace, the boy turned around so he was walking backwards.

"Oh, you're still here?" Thalia rolled her eyes. Seeing that insufferable boy trying to catch up to her made her want to walk even faster.
"Right. Remember me? Luke? The man you're going to fall in love with?" He said with a grin.
Thalia stopped walking, already by her second period classroom.
"No. Luke, the annoying b*stard pest that doesn't know when to stop."

Before Thalia could open the door, Luke put a hand on her arm, begging her to wait.
"Wait, Thalia, hear me out. I'm done with the flirting games when I saw you walk into the school."
"And I care because...?"
Luke now suddenly shy shifted his feet side to side.
"I wanted to ask you out on a date!" He said quickly looking to the floor.
"I... Um... Going to be sick that day." Thalia whispered.
Luke made a face like a puppy was being kicked.
"Sorry." He muttered and quickly turned to walk away."
Thalia took a deep breath and lunged to grab Luke's sleeve.
"How does tomorrow sound?" She asked facing the door.
"Y-yes! I could pick you up and we can go to the Greek Kitchen!"
Thalia's eyes narrowed, "How do you know that's my favorite restaurant?"
"I'll pick you up at 6!" Like smiled ignoring her started to skip away.
Thalia's face finally flushed a deep red. She continued to watch Luke skip, stifled a laugh when he fell face first to the floor out of excitement.

'What have I gotten myself into?'

Percy opened the school doors, heading straight to his locker to try avoid people. When he parked in the school parking lot this morning, people were staring at him like he was a hydra. Percy was facing his locker when he heard a thump right next to him. Looking down he saw Luke face down on the floor. Percy accidentally let out a bit of laughter as he helped Like get up. He was surprised to still see Like grinning ear to ear.
"Who put sugar in your cereal today Luke?" Percy pats his back showing sympathy for his embarrassing fall. Luke wasn't even phased by his fall, he was too happy to be bothered.
"Dude! I just scored a date with Thalia!"
Percy laughed again, "Congratulations you player."
Luke playfully shoved Percy.
"Oh hey Percy," Luke commented walking away, "it's terrible to treat Rachel like that.
Flabbergasted, Percy questioned,
"What in the world did I do wrong?"

He was starting to get annoyed with people blaming him for no reason. Percy closed his locker, heading to his first class.
'Maybe Rachel can explain what's happening.'
Percy walked in into math class it, someone else was sitting in it. In fact, that someone else was one of the people he hated.
'What the h*ll Rachel...'
"Um excuse me," Percy already annoyed at the two politely said, "You're in my seat."
Rachel gave the boy a gentle kiss on the cheek and swiftly stood up. She slowly walked closer to Percy until there was no space left. Rachel sighed and licked her lips.

*SMACK*

The sound echoed around the room. Everyone was shocked, but not as shocked as Percy.
"What is your problem Rachel?!" Percy finally spat out.
"Well you man wh*re, maybe if you didn't cheat on me with that sl*t, we wouldn't have this problem in the first place!
"Who are you even talking about you psychopath!?"
Rachel gave a short laugh, "That loser Annabeth, idiot. I saw you come out of her house. I'm not so dense to see that you guys are having s*x!"
Percy took a step back.
"You're being incredibly ridiculous right now Rachel. Annabeth is my best friend. In fact she should have been more in my life than you!"
Rachel have a sharp gasp, Percy knew she was faking her innocence.
"Unfortunately Percy, I'm dumping you for Todd, I know he could give me what I need." Rachel shot Percy a secret wink. It gave an answer to Percy about all of Rachel's secrets.
"Percy Jackson sit down!" The irrelevant teacher commanded. Percy didn't pay attention to anything in the world, as he only had one thing in his mind.
