After our last conversation, I have always seen Jacob hanging out with Alexa. I know I shouldn't be bothered but ever since Alexa confirmed that they have been dating, my heart started to ache.
I diverted my attention to acing my subjects and got myself engaged with the SA duties and being a good sister to my triplets.
It was a daunting task to manage time among those things. But, I have to survive.
Lately, Alexa and Jacob have been the talk of the campus. Them being the ideal couple.
Both are team captains in their respective sports. Both also are deanlisters. No trace of bad genes can be noticed from either of their sides.
The gossipmongers stopped linking our family name to Jacob and my sisters and I started living peacefully.
I was eating alone at the cafeteria because Duchess has somewhere to be and the two are dating somewhere when I saw Troy Woodruff slid into a seat across mine. I watched him placed his tray of food and unloaded it on the table.
I almost gaped at how plenty his tray was. There were large fries, two sundaes, chicken wings and two cups of rice, nachos and two bottles of mineral water on it.
"Ano tinitingin-tingin mo dyan? Get your sundae and begin digging the fries." Troy said and began to dip the chicken wings on the sauce before he brought it to his mouth.
"Huh?" I asked in confusion.
Troy rolled his eyes and put down his food for a moment to slide one of the sundaes to my side along with the fries.
"A-akin to?" I asked again.
Troy sighed and continued eating before he answered, "oo. Hindi ko naman mauubos lahat ng eto. Rice at chicken wings, oks na ako. Not a fan of fries."
I frowned and before I took a couple of fries, I said to him, "Teka. Para saan ba eto? Baka may gayuma to ha!"
Troy laughed loudly earning curious glances from everyone but he ignored them and laughed again.
"Kaya naman pala, the guy is whipped about you! Effort naman ng gayuma mo, Palermo!" He remarked still giggling. "The foods are clean. No need to worry. Gusto mo pagkasubo ko nito, eto din kainin mo para sure?"I looked at him in disgust imagining his weird suggestion.
"See! Even I am grossed out with the idea! So, stop worrying and continue eating! Matutunaw na yung sundae mo oh!" Troy remarked and took a bite again of his chicken wings before he brought a spoonful of rice to his mouth.
We ate in silence and I was tempted to ask why is he doing this since we aren't friends but decided to do it after we ate. So as not to ruin the moment.
I was about to open my mouth when the bell rang.
"Oops, training time! See you around, Palermo!" Troy said and grabbed his food tray and his bag as he stood up and waved at me.
"Thank you for the foods!" I managed to yell at him which he nodded off as he went to the gym.
I sighed and began arranging my things to put it on the sink when a blue note was seen on Troy's table.
Curious, I picked it up and was about to follow Troy to the gym when I saw my name on top of it.
Amara
Obviously, it was for me, so I slid it into my jeans pocket to read later.
Whoever it was, she or he knows what my schedule is.
