Meadow had the luck of not being seasick but that long on a ship did make her dizzy and slightly nauseous. But she payed no mind to it whatsoever, they had more important things to do.
Jesper definitely did pay mind to it. The first thing he did when they got off the ship was crouch down to the ground and almost kissing it. Meadow laughed at him but Kaz stopped him before Jespers lips could touch the ground.
Inej didn't seem to be fazed by being on a boat that long. She was mostly with Meadow and sometimes Jesper. The two females had been getting along more and more. They understood each other and were happy with their company.
Kaz had been zoning out from every conversation. Sometimes he said a few words but that was about it. Even when he talked he used as minimal words as possible.
The only thing he had been doing was coming up with a solid plan. And that was harder this time than he had originally thought. Richard van Dijk had given them a difficult task. And because it was so sudden, Kaz didn't have much time to come up with a plan before their departure.
"Get off the ground you fool. It's gross." Kaz scolded Jesper who was about to kiss the ground. Meadow snickered silently in her fist. And Inej had a small smiled on her face.
Jesper quickly got off the ground. "Should we go look for a place to sleep?" He proposed.
Kaz nodded at that and began leading the group towards the small town where the ship was docked. But instead of finding a burrow to spend the night, he led the group straight into the woods.
After a while of walking through the dark green woods, the group found an opening and they set up their temporary camp.
After sleeping bags were set up, Meadow immediately sat down on her own.
