Camila's POV

I close the backyard door as I walk further into the garden.

I stop walking when I see my uncle playing with toy soldiers with Jayden.

My uncle places a hand on Jayden's soldier as he rubs it slowly.

I clench my fist as it shakes violently with so much anger. "Hey!" I raise my voice and walk over.

At the sound of my voice, my uncle backs away from Jayden. "Camila," He says.

I walk over and take Jayden's hand in mine. "Hey Jayden, how about you go on in and play with your aunt," I kneel to his height.

"Okay, Camila," Jayden nods. He grabs all his toy soldiers and hugs me before running inside the house.

I slowly stand up and glare at my uncle. "What were you doing to him?" I ask.

"Nothing," My uncle says.

"That didn't look like nothing. The way you were rubbing his shoulder. It was what you did to me when I was around his age," I said.

"That doesn't mean anything," My uncle says.

"Doesn't mean anything? You did the same thing right before you fucking raped me," I said.

"I didn't rape you, Camila. I've told you so many times," My uncle says.

I clench and unclench my fist as I hold the folder up to him. "I need your signature for me to stay in the company," I said.

My uncle takes the folder and opens it. He takes the pen I handed him and he signs the papers.

"Thank you," I said. I take the folder back and put my pen away.

"Camila," Harry walks over.

"Yeah?" I turn to look at him.

I stumble back a little when I see Lauren and another man behind him.

"Lauren. What are you-"

"Liam. Lauren's brother. Listen here! If you don't-"

"Liam! Chill," Lauren grabs him by the shirt and pulls him back beside her.

"I told them to come here," Harry says.

"Why?!" I raise my voice.

"Because you need to confront your situation," Harry says.

"What situation?" My uncle asks.

"It doesn't concern you. Harry, can you leave me, Lauren, and her brother alone. Take your dad with you," I said.

Harry nods and takes his father by the arm as they disappear inside the house.

I take a deep breath and breath back out as I look over at Lauren and her brother. "Let it out..." I said softly.

"No," Lauren places a hand on her brother's chest to stop him. She drops her hand and walks over to me. "Listen, Camila. I know getting the news that your having a kid is a lot but I need you. I can't... I can't be a single mother. Not again," Lauren says.

"And I'm not letting that fucking happen," Liam cuts in.

Lauren glares at him before looking back at me as she reaches out and takes my hand. "Please, Camila," She begs.

I frown as I look down at the floor, not having the strength to even look into her eyes. "Lauren, I told you last night. I can't be a parent," I mumbled.

Lauren steps closer to me and lifts my chin as she cups my cheek. "And what about loving me? Do you love me?" She whispers.

"I... I..." I stutter.

"If you don't... Look me in the eyes and tell me," Lauren says.

I look into her eyes and bite my lower lip nervously. "I... I do love you," I said.

"Then what's the problem?" Lauren asks.

I get out of her touch and shake my head. "I've already told you that I can't say. It's hard for me to say," I said.

"Whatever you can't say... It hurt you so much, did it?" Lauren asks.

"Traumatized. It left me traumatized," I said.

"You can tell me, you know you can," Lauren says.

"Lauren..." I whisper.

"Listen, listen, listen! I am here because like it or not you are going to take responsibility for your baby," Lauren's brother points at me.

I close my eyes and nod slowly. "I... I will," I said lowly.

"Perfect! I'll be in the car," Lauren's brother says and leaves.

I look at Lauren as I chew on my lower lip nervously. "You can... You can move in with me when you decide to," I finally said.

"That's all?" Lauren raises an eyebrow.

"Money, food, water, clothes, a roof above your head won't be problems for you and the kid," I said.

"What about love? Which is way more important than any of those things," Lauren says.

"Just because I'm saying that I don't want to be a parent doesn't mean that I don't care about that kid," I said.

"Yet you don't want to be close to it," Lauren says.

"Because I'll only hurt it. I need you to understand that," I said.

"How-"

"Don't ask me again," I said. I walk past her and open the backyard door. "Come with me," I said.

"Where are we going?" Lauren asks.

"Back to your place to get your stuff. Your moving in with me," I said.
