Vanessa POV
The alarm clock goes off once again. I rose out the bed time see Jermaine already in the bathroom. I looked at the time 7:25, he would be hard as a rock at the hour. Working at an Exclusive Event company was more then a challenge, but I wanted this so bad I put most of my energy and time into it.
I met Jermaine in college, my freshman year. He swept me off my feet as he said "whats your name baby girl " with his beautiful brown eyes and chunky eyebrows. Six years strong...I was there in the beginning of his rap career...The success, fame, women, money and everything that came with the industry was sometimes overwhelming but I knew that Jcole was the world's version of my Jermaine cole...They could have that but I had the sweet & loving intimacy of the real him. I knew that for the last year and a half things were changing. We both worked long hours, didn't spend as much time together,
But something different was going on. A women's intuition will tell you so much with little facts or information. I knew that some girl that was previously in his life had came back into the picture. I wasn't to sure how to feel about it . My baby was in the mirror conducting his daily hygiene, humming the tune to one of his own songs of course.
Vanessa: Somebody's in a good mood *sitting on the sink*
Jermaine: Good morning* he kissed her passionately* I guess you can say that **
Vanessa: hmmmm...you smell good..you got plans?
Jermaine: I got a couple interviews, meet and greet then just chilling with Aubrey ...probably hoop or somethin'.
Vanessa: sounds good ** is that Destiny girl gonna be there?
Jermaine: she does work for him so I'm pretty sure she will be.
Vanessa: right
He didn't even Budge nor say anything sweet like usual.
Jermaine: *silent*
Vanessa: can you be here at 8?
Jermaine: yeah , what you coming home before 11?
Vanessa: smart ass...I think we should go see a movie or something...maybe dinner?
Jermaine: look who's trying to make time for baby -*he wrapped his arms around her waist*
Vanessa: yes I am, I noticed how both of us never really see each other...it's more of my fault then yours, I promise to give you more of me..
Jermaine: *grabbed her face* hello , are you there? Where's Vanessa? What did you do with her? *He laughed as she moved her face*
Vanessa: I'm serious, I just want you to know that you mean everything to me...
Jermaine looked in my eyes and kissed me softly .
It felt good to spend the morning with him with out being mad at each other . I was constantly tired from working 5 days a week plus the off the clock hours to perfect my work. We got in the shower and made love. I was officially late for work...first time in four years, I texted my boss and let her know I would be in soon...It wasn't a issue so I went downstairs to cook my baby breakfast.
Jermaine: damn It's like I got my old girlfriend baby
Vanessa: be quiet, you know when I do something I love I can go alittle overboard...But I see know..and ___ back on my shit
Jermaine : I'm glad to here that...
I spent the rest of my morning with my love , until I had to go to work. I thought he was acting different but he had straighten up his act. If I wasn't worried about these other hoes I had no reason to be worried about her.
