Entering Aslan's camp sight, everyone turned towards us, staring. Gasps filled the crowd as they all whispered about the king that has betrayed them all. I peered up to Edmund and saw him take a gulp, nervous of what his consequences are going to be since he knows he did wrong.
"Princess! Princess Seraphina! She's alive."
People in the crowd caught my attention as they cried out my name. When I glanced back to the crowd, confusion filled my mind.
My breath hitched, "It can't be."
Edmund snapped his head down towards me, "What? What's wrong?"
The centaur came to a slow walk as we neared a huge tent. I took a closer look at certain people in the crowd as I sat straighter. "It's... it's my people. Merfolk. They're here," a small chuckle let me as I was in a state of shock. "I- I don't understand. How? I- I saw them perish when the ocean froze over, so how can it be that they're here. Alive."
"Because I gave them life again."
My head snapped to the huge tent that stood on a huge rock in front of me. A smile escaped from me as I saw who it was that spoke... Aslan. My hands covered my mouth in pure shock as I jumped off the back of the centaur and bowed before him.
Aslan bowed before me as well, "When I made my return, spring came. Defrosting everything in my path, including the waters of Narnia and the life that was frozen with it."
I turned to the crowd once more and saw all of the people from my kingdom bow before me. I shook my head, "All this time, I thought I was alone. The last one."
"For a period of time, you were, Seraphina." Aslan stepped down the stairs and came next to me as we both stared at our people, "I have someone here that has been waiting to see you." Turning my head to look at the lion, confusion showed on my face.
"Seraphina?"
A familiar voice called out to me, shock, pain, and love filled that voice. I know that voice from anywhere. Tears ran down my face as I turned around to see the man standing where Aslan once stood.
"Daddy," my voice broke. I ran from my spot straight to my father. He held his arms wide open as I ran into his embrace, he picked me up and twirled me.
His hand held my head close to him, "Thank heavens your okay. I love you Seraphina."
A sob escaped from me, "I love you too." He placed me down on the ground as he just took me in. "I can't believe it," I forced out, "It's been a hundred years since I last saw you, but I don't understand. I saw you freez-"
"Aslan has the power to undo Jadis' evil," my father spoke softly, "With him and the four humans, we can win this if we just believe."
"Edmund," Aslan spoke firmly. Edmund turned from being with his sibling, fear filled his eyes. "We need to speak. Follow me. Kai," he spoke to my father now, "I'll be speaking with you after. We have something to discuss with Seraphina remember."
I glanced up to my father to see his face turned into a serious expression, "Of course."
"Dad," I grabbed onto his arm, "What is he talking about?"
He shook his head, "Never mind that. Let's get you into some new clothes. Lucy! Susan!" Two girls came running to us in a rush, "Can you help my daughter find a new dress please?"
"Of course," the little red headed girl said, while taking my hand.
As we walked away from my father, the older girl looked at me, her mind was filled with questions as she looked at me. "Seraphina, correct?" I nodded my head at her. "How did you meet my brother Edmund?"
