You were Scott and Stiles' best friend ever since fourth grade. You had the biggest crush on Stiles. It hurt that he was in love with your cousin, Lydia.
Scott had gotten barred from going to the dance so he could still play lacrosse with his awful grades. He was hoping you could take him.
You shut your locker, "No, I'm not taking you to the dance, Scott"
"Why not?" asked Scott.
You remarked, "Because I already have a date"
"You do? Who?"
"Don't act so surprised"
"Sorry. Who is taking you to the dance?"
"Isaac. You should know him, he's on the lacrosse team"
Isaac Lahey was your date to the dance. You thought he was cute and sweet. You didn't know much about him but you wanted to.
You weren't exactly happy with Stiles going with Lydia but then again, Allison was going with Jackson so the whole world was upside down.
Lydia told you, "I hope you're okay with me coming with Stiles. You don't still have feelings for Stiles, right?"
You've had a crush on him since third grade. It was totally not the reason you befriended him and Scott in fourth grade.
You lied, "No, I don't"
Scott heard your heart beat faster when you said that you didn't still have feelings for Stiles.
Unfortunately, you had to ditch Isaac because Lydia got mauled in the lacrosse field. She was your cousin after all. You were family. Isaac understood.
Next Monday at school.
"Y/n, can we talk?" asked Scott.
That was only a little concerning.
You said, "Sure, Scott"
Scott pulled you aside to one small hallway where you could talk alone.
Scott said, "I know you have feelings for Stiles"
"What? No I don't" you lied.
Scott heard your heart beat faster when you said that. You never told Scott about how you felt about Stiles. You really only told your diary, your mom, and Lydia.
Scott told you, "You're lying. You just don't want to admit it because he has a thing for Lydia"
You admitted, "Okay, maybe I do still have feelings for him but don't tell him or anyone really"
"Still?"
"I've said too much"
Things were weird with Isaac. You did like him and felt there could be something there but things changed after Derek bit him.
You guys were friendly towards each other for the most part. And you were fine with that. But still you wanted a boyfriend!
