Imagine: Goodbye- Isaac

Warning: Angst, I teared up a little while writing this.

You couldn't save her. Allison, one of your best friends. You couldn't save Aiden either. No one really knew what to do now that it was all over so you all went home.

You cried in the shower over your friends and you could barely leave your room. The only time you did was when Isaac, your boyfriend, came to the door the next day.

You opened the door for him, "Isaac. What are you doing here? Are you okay?"

"I'm leaving" answered Isaac.

His response confused you. Why on earth would he leave? Where would he go? You were the only one Isaac had.

You said, "What? Where are you going? Are you coming back?"

Isaac told you, "France with Argent and I don't think I'll be coming back"

France. A whole other country with its own language and culture and full of pretty French girls. And hundreds of miles away and in a completely different time zone and continent.

Tears started to leave your eyes, "You can't leave"

"But I am"

You cried, "Please don't leave me"

Isaac wiped the tears from your cheek, "I'm sorry baby but I have to"

"No, you don't. Isaac, please stay with me"

You needed him to stay with you. He was your boyfriend, the one person you could always rely on, you needed him after everything that happened with the nogitsune.

Isaac remarked as tears started to fill his eyes as well, "I don't suppose you can come with me"

You couldn't stop crying, "Isaac, I have my family, my friends here. Plus I'm not the greatest at french"

"I love you"

Isaac leaned down and kissed you one last time. It was short and it was goodbye.

You begged again, "Please don't leave me"

"I'm sorry" Isaac let you go before turning his back and leaving.

You thought that you would see him again eventually. When Argent returned, you had your hopes he would come back with him but Isaac didn't. You thought he would come back for sure when Argent left to look for an old friend but then Derek came back instead of him.

You never saw Isaac again.
