Complicated (Charlie Weasley x reader)

Chapter 35 This is my fault...

Ireland had won the cup! The people around you were celebrating loudly once it happened, though you could see some unhappy people too, like the Bulgarians, but no one let them ruin the moment.

You had gone back to the Weasleys tent- or WEEZLYs as the sign outside their tent said- to celebrate before it got too late. It had been quite the entertaining night, as Fred and George was running all over the place while singing an annoying tune, and Ron was almost dying at how awsome Victor Krum had been. Even Percy seemed to enjoy himself as he was finaly talking about something other than his boss, Barty Crouch.

You, Charlie and Bill had been conversing a little to the side, so you wouldn't stand in the way of the twins. Bill told you a little about Egypt, since you had barley talked to him after he graduated, but he soon went with their dad to do something, leaving you alone with Charlie. Well, technically you weren't alone, since everyone else was there, but you were having your own conversation, without anyone else.

'Wait... so that blonde guy that was with you when you picked up Odin still brings up that I'm real?'

'You'd be suprised if I told you how many times he have brought it up by now...' Charlie gave a small sigh, but soon smiled at you again. 'He really did believe I made you up.'

You stod in a comfortable silence as the twins had started to circle Ron while he held some kind of speach about the Bulgarian seeker.

'Hey (name)... there's actually something I wanted to talk to you about...' You heard Charlie say from beside you.

'Yeah?' Turning to him he looked a little nervous, but not in a bad kind of way.

'Lets take it outside.' At first you didn't get why he couldn't just tell you right away, but got it soon after as Fred and George started to sing.

Walking out of the tent you heard something like 'Victor I love you.' But didn't get to hear anything else as you had already gotten out of the tent.

'What did you want to tell me?' You faced Charlie and gave him a soft smile. He didn't look at you right away, as he seemed to find the ground rather facinating. He brought a hand up to his neck in a nervous manner before he finaly looked at you.

'(Name), do you maybe want to-' But he never got to finish the sentence as you heard a loud scream coming from somewhere behind you, followed by fire.

Everything after that was a blur.

You had no idea what was happening. People were screaming and running everywhere, knocking over eachother and simply not caring about anyone else. You could hear Mr Weasley say something as the others exited the tent, but didn't catch a word of it, only reacting when Charlie had taken your hand and dragged you with him. He lead you to the forrest, but you ended up getting separated as someone ran straight trough your linked hands, also knocking you over in the prosess.

You quickly lifted yourself from the ground, but it was all ready too late. You couldn't see anyone you knew, only scared people who almost ran over you. You didn't know how long you searched for the others, but got a very unpleasant reminder to run when the tent next to you exploded into flames. Feeling a sudden pain in your leg, you didn't care. You had to get out of there.

So getting your sh*t together you ran.

You reached the forrest, but didn't stop running being too afraid of what would happend if you did, but when the screaming got lower and the adrenaline in your body had ran out, you collapsed next to a tree.

The pain in your leg got a lot worse after that, and as you sat on the ground with your back against the tree, you feared your life. You knew that if someone unfriendly noticed you now, you'd be done for. You carefully moved your body to have a look at your leg, and lets be honest, you really wished you hadn't. Your whole upper leg had been burned, the skin completly gone making you only see the flesh underneath trough your now ruined pants. You tried to get up, not feeling safe where you sat, but that only increased the already unbearable pain.
