Y/N's POV:
Today we're going ring and dress shopping which I was really looking forward to. I wanted to make sure Wanda got a beautiful wedding ring as she didn't get an engagement one. In terms of the dress I didn't know what I wanted. I guess part of me is quite traditional and wants the white dress but I also want it to be comfortable enough to wear for the entire day so not too big. To be honest I wasn't too fussed about what I wore because I knew whatever it was Wanda would massively upstage me and I was ok with that. She's going to be the most beautiful bride and wife. I didn't care too much about the wedding itself just that I would be able to start our future together. We had decided to have the wedding ceremony on the grounds of HQ with the lake as the backdrop. Then Wanda and I were going to create a canopy of sorts for the reception. We are going to Barcelona for our honeymoon. Stark is letting us borrow his house out there which has its own private beach. We wanted to go somewhere we could do things but also had space to relax.

Wanda starts to wake up slowly smiling.
"Did you give me that dream?" She asks sleepily.
"Yeah I did. I mean in the real world things go wrong and there's no such thing as perfect except from our love so I thought I'd give you a preview of what our honeymoon could be like," I explain.
"I loved it. Your powers are in such control now I'm so impressed," Wanda replies kissing me gently.
"You're my anchor. I know that as long as I have you by my side anything is possible and I'm safe," I say smiling.
"Are you excited for today?" She inquires brushing the hair out of my face.
"I really am. Every step and day is closer to being your wife. That's all I care about. Are you?" I ask my beautiful fiancée.
"Yes. I just want the dress to be perfect. I want to look good on our wedding day," Wanda explained.
"Wanda whatever you wear you're going to look beautiful. As long as you love it I'll love it too," I assure her.
"You always know just what to say," she smiles kissing me gently.
"Now we've got a couple of hours until we have to leave. I thought I'd make us breakfast," I suggest.
"I'm not really that hungry," she smirks kissing me. Wanda straddles me deepening the kiss with every touch.

As we get to the foyer to meet Nat and Carol. I think loudly to Wanda *I thought you weren't hungry* smirking as she blushes.
"Why's Wanda all red?" Carol asks confused.
"Must've been something she ate," I shrug getting into the car. Wanda laughs loudly.
"I don't think I want to know why you're laughing so I'm not going to ask," Nat says rolling her eyes.
"Good idea," Wanda agrees.
"I'm really excited I've never been a bridesmaid before," Carol announces.
"You never would've guessed from the 20 texts a day we get about the bachelorette party when we're sat in the same room," Nat teases her.
"I just want it to be perfect ok? I don't think I'll ever be a maid of honour again. I want to make it count," she explains.
"This is why Carol's the second favourite woman in my life," I reply earning a glare from Nat.
"You've a very short term memory Y/L/N. You forget it's thanks to me you're together. I got the stuff for your first date, I got you out of the cell, I encouraged you to get back together," Nat rants.
"Alright Nat. Relax it was a joke. Carol speak Russian to her to calm her down," I request.
"I am calm you're just ungrateful," she sighs.
"Of course I'm grateful. You're my best friend it was just a joke," I say confused. She doesn't answer. Great start to the day.

We pull up outside the dress shop and there's an awkward silence.
"I'm not having you two not being friends or awkward today. So you stand outside and sort whatever this is out while Carol and I go inside to start browsing," Wanda instructs. I nod in agreement and so does Nat. As soon as they go inside Nat starts tearing up,
"Hey what's going on?" I ask Nat.
"It just hit me that you're both going to be leaving me. First your honeymoon then moving away and leaving the Avengers. I'm just going to miss you that's all," she explains.
"Nat you really think we'd leave you behind or forget about you? We're not fully leaving we'll be back when you need us. And I can teleport to see you whenever you want to see us. You're not losing us. You're our best friend. I say that stuff so that Carol doesn't feel left out and feels appreciated. You know we love you Nat. And when we have kids they're going to have their favourite Auntie Nat so please don't worry," I assure her hugging her.
"You and your way with words Y/N. Thank you I feel a lot better now. You're not just my best friends you're my family," she explains.
"I know. Right come on. Help me pick a dress to try to upstage Wanda and fail miserably," I say dragging her inside.
