Maturing and growing up. Having a well-paid job and making your own money. Having your own house and building slowly a family. Becoming rensponsible. . .

That's what I'm trying to do with my life now, too. Living in a not so big apartment, since I'm alone, located just a couple of blocks away from my job. I earn a pretty good amount of money, enough to feed me and probably another three people. I live a luxurious life as one could say, I have literally everything.

People would do anything to have a life like mine. Honestly I can see why. But even with all those conveniences, why do I still feel empty? Like my life doesn't really have a meaning. I'm waking up everyday, go to work, return back home, eat, sleep and repeat. Nothing excites me anymore. I'm living such a monotonous life.

These kind of thoughts go through my mind every day in the morning just when I wake up. Taking a deep breath while sighing, I got out of bed to get myself ready. Not to go to work or anything, not even outside. I just don't want to look like a monster walking around the house.

Today is my day off work, so I'm probably just going to do some chores, go shopping and in general relax a little bit. After I was done with using the bathroom, I made my way to the kitchen, where I prepared a coffee. Once it was was ready, I took it and walked to the balcony to breath some fresh air. But not even there could I have some quiet time.

When I got out, the loud noises were unbearable. I placed my coffee on the table and looked down on the road to see what was happening. Move-out? New neighbours?

Ah not again. . . Last time we had new neighbours it was literally a disaster. Some college kids decided to move to the apartment next to mine just a couple of months ago. Unfortunately they got kicked out by the amount of complains from the other neighbours. They had partys almost on a daily basis and they used to put the music so loud, that the whole block of flat was shaking. I personally didn't really mind them, because they were just college kids who wanted to live their lives to the max. I couldn't spent my years when I was younger like that, so I didn't really want to deprive them of the fun. Since then, nobody has ever moved in the apartment. I guess the time has finally come.

"Where should we leave all these, boss? " a guy shouted with some big packages in his hands. He was probably talking to the new owner of the apartment.

"Just leave them here in the door. I'm going to put them in myself. " I heard a young and cheerful voice say. I looked closer to see where it was coming from and that's when I saw him. The new owner. Such a tall man. So tall. I'm sure he would have to bend slightly in order to go through doors. With such beautiful hair. Short and white. But what really caught my eyes were his bright yellow coloured eyes that shimmered due to the sunlight. So so pretty. But one of them didn't really shimmer as the other one. It looked more colourless. Nah it was probably my imagination.
