Chapter 17: Please Say Yes

I get home from the mall and Brandon comes running down to me and grabs my shoulders.
"Rose, do you know what's going down to night?" He asks.
"No, what?"
"Ryan told me that he's going to ask mom to marry him."
I look at him with a blank face, it's all going by so fast I mean he's going to asked her to marry him!
"What!!!" I yell.
"Hey guys what's going on?" My mom says coming into the room.
"Oh you know just discussing what we are gonna do tonight." I said.
"Oh really what are you guys going to do." She asks.
Of course what's to know more.
"We were just gonna go to the arcade just the two of us just brother and sister time." Brandon says.
"Oh that's fun." She says.
She turns and walks away.
"Oh my God what are we going to do?" I ask.
"I don't know, if she says yes than we will have to deal with it I guess."
"Ugh. Why? Why is this happening."
"Didn't you guys hang out tho was he cool." He asked.
"Yeah but not as cool as dad."
"Okay let's just go to the fourth floor and hang out."
"Okay."

Ryan's POV
Oh my god how am I going to ask her to marry me. I thought to myself.
"I know it's early but I love you so much and I just couldn't wait to ask well, will you marry me?" I said to myself.
Yeah I'll do that.
Roses POV
Okay don't freak out Rose if your moms happy, your happy. I thought. It's almost dinner and I think that's when Ryan's going to ask her to marry her.
"Honey come down for dinner!" My mom yelled.
"Coming!" Brandon and I yelled at the same together. We looked at each other and just laughed that doesn't happen a lot.
We get down and its looks awesome to bad it's a sucky event.
"Okay guys tonight we have spaghetti and meatballs." My mom says.
"Awesome!" Brandon and I say again at the same time.
"We must be really nervous about this." He whispers to me.
"I agree."
"Okay before we eat dinner," Ryan starts saying, " I have an important announcement, Linda( my mom) I know it's early but I love you so much and I just couldn't wait well, will you marry me?" He get down on one knee and holds a BIG diamond ring I mean big.
"Yes!! A million times yes." She says smiling so big.
Well looks like we are going dress shopping.
