Before I share with you the actors that I chose, I want to clarify that as much as we all enjoy fantasizing about hegemonic beauty ideals, these characters could look completely different and their story would be exactly the same. They'd deserve every bit of love, their energies would still pull to one another.
Actors in my novels are merely muses. In my case, they channel energies, they're guides for how bodies storing them would behave, and help me materialize these beings enough to be brought into the human realm.
It is absolutely true that we're treated differently based on the way we look, however, any combination that would result in mutual attraction would work. Please don't think for one second that because you don't look how you wish to, you're not worthy of love and desire.
Aesthetic beauty is a construction, both social and personal. True beauty is caring, honesty, vulnerability— humanity. Sometimes our bodies reflect who we are, sometimes we're on our path for them to do so. They're merely a proxy.
And always remember, my dears, if you don't like the way you look, you're simply not your type ;)
