"Derek Christopher Michael Shepherd"

Derek turned around from Meredith slowly; hoping and praying that the loud, annoying voice didn't belong to his suspected source.

Alas, he was met with exactly that.

Derek took a deep breath before speaking as the woman made her way towards them.

"Amy... what are you doing here?" he asked her, Meredith still behind him; now thoroughly confused. She looked the woman up and down.

She was about the same height as her, had a small figure, and medium-length wavy hair. She resembled a lot of characteristics that Derek had. Worry filled Meredith's brain at this mystery woman in front of her. She could only watch and listen as the conversation continued.

"You'd know if you had returned any of my one phone calls," she said maniacally. The woman tilted her head to the left; acknowledging Meredith's presence.

"You must be Meredith, we've heard all about you way back in New York," she said walking closer and extending her hand. We?... New York?...

Meredith cautiously grabbed it.

"Yes I am...uhm who are you?" she asked confusedly.

The woman raised her eyebrows in surprise with a little smirk.

"Oh... I see my brother hasn't told you about me, I'm Amelia...Amelia Shepherd"  she said, shaking Meredith's hand slowly.

Derek ran his hand over his face in frustration. He wasn't excited nor expecting to see Amelia; purposely avoiding her phone calls... and now she was here; doing god knows what...

"Shepherd?" Meredith asked, still not completely understanding who Nancy was or what she was doing here.

"Yes..." Derek chimed in, noticing the confusion in her body language. "She's one of my sisters"

"Your favorite sister" Amelia corrected him with a smug look on her face. He rolled his eyes in response.

Meredith stiffened a little. After they just got back together... Derek's sister was here, and apparently, she knew who Meredith was...

She glared at Derek and cleared her throat a little. "Derek, can I talk to you for a minute..." she said sternly. Derek gave her an apologetic smile before turning to Amelia.

"Give us a minute Amy, we'll be right back," he said, before following Meredith to an exam room nearby. She shut the door before turning to Derek who had a very guilty look on his face.

"I don't know what she's doing here Mer, I didn't ask her to come" he watched as Meredith fixed her hair; pulling it back tightly on her head.

"Mer what are you doing? That is a ridiculously high ponytail" he said with a little chuckle as she put her hair up. She turned around quickly and gave him a death stare.

"Derek... your sister is here! She looks like Caterina freaking Scorsone and I look like this" she said through gritted teeth while motioning to her face.

He couldn't help but smile his classic dreamy smile at her nervous obsessive behavior. Meredith tilted her head at his laid-back expression.

"Stop looking at me like that," she said firmly, her anger boiling at how casually he was acting. She put her hands on her hips and continued glaring at him.

Derek covered his mouth to hide his little smile. She looked so cute with her angry face and her high ponytail...

"Sorry Mer, you just look really cute when you're angry like this," he said, trying to pull her in for a hug.
