Fight With Me (A Beyblade Fanfic)

The First Visit

"I want to visit her now, okay?" Chi Yun said as they waited for Mei Mei to be ready next door.

"We understand Chi Yun, Mei Mei is almost ready." Chao Xin replied.

Chi Yun looked down, then noticed that Da Xiang was staring off into space with a disturbed expression. An uncomfortable tension rose into the air. Thankfully, it was broken by Mei Mei's knock on the door. Da Xiang nodded and opened the door. "Are we ready?" Chao Xin asked.  Mei Mei nodded. 

The friends walked down to the first floor and took a cab to the hospital at which Kara was staying.

"Kara Bradley please." Chi Yun hastily said. "Third floor, room 206." the front desk lady gave them each a badge to show that they were visitors that were not family.

"First, I would like to buy something special for her." Chi Yun said, walking towards the gift shop. "I think that she would like the party hat barrett and the yellow flowers." he said as they walked in.

"I think that she would love that!" Mei Mei replied, looking around. Chi Yun grabbed the party hat and flowers and paid. He put the hat in the flowers to make it look like the flower had a party hat on.

"Thank you for shopping here, I hope your guest gets well soon!"

Chi Yun nodded and began to cry once again as he heard the words of the woman come out of her lips. He nodded and walked out of the gift shop. Team Wang Hu Zhong took the elevater up. Chi Yun wiped away tears in the elevator, trying not to let anyone see his pain. All of them felt pain for Kara, but Chi Yun seemed to feel the worst pain for Kara. Ever since they met, Chi Yun and Kara have grown rather close, and hung out when ever they could.

Da Xiang only told Kara this, but he even said that Chi Yun's mood has lightened and he is not as stressed as before when he and Kara became friends.

The truth was, Chi Yun loved Kara. Her bright personality made everyone in her sight happy. Kara was rarely sad or angry, but when she is, she can't hide it no matter how hard she tried. Chi Yun loved that. Even though he was bad, when ever Kara seemed down, he tried his best to cheer him up, just like she did everyday.

Now it was Kara's turn. Chi Yun closed his eyes and let the tears stay in. Kara, cheer me up. Please, wake up.

The elevater doors opened. Doctors were all around the halls getting supplies, checking computers, and doing what ever they do. Chi Yun and the others walked to room 206 and knocked on the door.

"Looking for Kara? She is in the ICU right now. We just moved her after her condition worsened. Come, follow me." a doctor said. Chi Yun and the others followed the nurse and went all the way down to the ICU floor.

When they made it down, the doctor scanned her badge to a room with closed blinds. The door opened, but there was another room with a door and large glass windows stretching across the wall.

There was Kara on the other side of the door.

She lay on the bed, looking terribly pale and limp. She was in the usual hospital robe. All but her head was under the covers.

Kara was comatose.

"Kara..." the four drifted off. "Right now, visiters are welcome for about two hours, then you must leave. Kara's parents just left for lunch, but they will be back soon. They told us about you coming. I heard that you guys were Kara's friends from China. You guys traveled a long way." the doctor explained while opening the door to the hospital room.

The team walked into the room and the nurse walked off. "Call me if you need anything."

Chi Yun sat the flowers and barrett onto the table and sat on the bench. 

"Chi Yun, we'll give you time to yourself." Chao Xin said as the team walked out of the room. Chi Yun replied nothing, but he just sat on the bench. He waited until everybody was out and it was just him.

"Hello Kara," he said to her.

She replied nothing.

"Kara, I hope you can hear me in your dreams. I wish for you to wake up, Kara." Chi Yun pleaded. "I mean, after all of this! You can't die now. Oh what am I saying? I am letting you down, aren't I? Here I am with no hope. You are probably think how stupid I am for saying this garbage. I know, I understand, and I am sorry. I just do not know what else to say."

Once again, Kara replied nothing. The only sound that was in the room was the slow beeps that the monitor gave off.
