Skye's POV
I had woke up from my nap due to loud music playing from the lookout. I looked to my right and Chase was still on my side sleeping soundly. I decided not to wake him up. I looked at the clock in his pup house and it was about 5 in the afternoon. I snuck out of his pup house quietly making sure to not wake Chase and headed into the lookout. I walked in to see all the pups hanging out.

"What's going on?" I groggily said since I was still kind of tired. Zuma walked up to me and put a paw on my shoulder.

"Sorry if we woke you up, we were doing a pup pup boogie competition." He said with a smile. "Where's Chase? He asked.

"He's still sleeping." I told him, but then I started to feel a little sick. "Ugh." I mumbled.

"You okay, looks like your not feeling to well how about we go outside so you can get some fresh air?" Zuma suggested. I followed him outside and we sat down watching the view from a hill.

"Skye, from what I can tell your pups are due any minute...maybe you should go wake Chase and tell him." He said.

"I know Zuma, it's just he's been working so hard taking care of me I want him to have a break so just keep it between you and me okay?" I asked him hoping he wouldn't push further.

"Okay if your sure you are fine, just know that you can tell me anything, I'm your best friend." He said hugging me. I giggled. "I know Zuma, you have been by me when I needed you." I told him with a smile. Suddenly we heard footsteps behind us.

"Hey Skye, hey Zuma." Chase said happily while sitting with us. "Hey Chase." We both said. "So what ya up to?" He asked.

"We were just spending time together just watching the view." Zuma said to him. Chase raised an eyebrow. " No, no it's not what you think... I uh it's just as friends I'm not- but Chase started laughing. " I know Zuma I was just teasing you." He said still laughing.

After a while the rest of the pups and Ryder came up to us. "You guys want to go to the beach?" Ryder asked. "Yeah!" Everyone exclaimed except Skye.

I'm not feeling that well, but I can't let Chase know that or he won't leave me alone for a second. Skye thought. As the pups started walking Chase noticed Skye was still sitting and didn't move so he went back without anyone knowing.

"Skye you feeling okay? He asked worried. "Yeah I'm fine." I replied, but he didn't by it.
"Skye I know your not fine, it's not time is it?Maybe we should- but I cut him off.

"Chase I'm fine." I told him, but the minute I said that I felt a sharp pain in my stomach but made sure not to show it.

"Okay then let's go." He said still being aware of how I was doing.

We had finished crossing the bridge, and were almost to the beach when I really started to feel pain. I was getting dizzy and tired so I slowed down. Then I started to feel sick, and something told me I needed to tell Chase, because I was pretty sure it was about to be time.

"C-Chase." I called out stuttering. All the pups stopped and turned around and when Chase saw me I think he knew to, and he ran fast to me.

"Skye I think you need to get to Katie's." He said looking worried. "Chase...I don't feel so- AHHHHH!" I screamed as a fell to the ground. Zuma came rushing first then everyone after him." "Okay pups listen, Marshall I need you to go to the lookout and get you EMT gear just in case Katie needs help, Everyone except Chase go tell Katie we are on our way over there, and Chase you have to carry Skye over there okay?" Ryder said.

As they were leaving I called Zuma back." Zuma wait." I said. "Yeah Skye?" He asked. "Can you stay? I have Chase but I want to close friend around too, since Everest is at the lookout with her pups." I asked him hoping he would say yes.

"Of course I'll stay Skye."He said walking back over to us. Chase picked me up and we walked over to Katie's and she was waiting for me. She took me off Chases back and carried me into the back room.

Chase's POV
We were waiting for Skye to be done and I was literally shaking. I was so nervous that I wasn't going to be a good dad and that I would do something wrong. Then Marshall came over to me.

"Chase calm down, your going to do great, I was nervous too, but the minute I looked at my pups I knew everything was going to be fine." He told me calmly.

I took a deep breath and calmed down some. Zuma shot be a friendly smile reminding me that it would all be fine and we all sat there doing are own thing for a while. It had been about 35 minutes and I could tell the pups were starting to get bored doing random things to pass time. I was getting worried since it was taking so long when I hear,

Chase she's ready to see you......
