Chapter 9

Marshall P.O.V

It was a few weeks since Skye had been gone. I really missed her. She was like a sister to me and I wanted her to be safe and ok. Rocky had recovered and was back to being his usual self. Me and him both knew she tried to help and we missed her. We were all in the lookout. Ryder was pouring food in our bowl with the saddest look I've ever seen. Chase then spoke up and asked Ryder why was he said and were is Skye.

" Well I'm sad because, sigh Skye she ran away and I have know Idea were she went." He said on the verge of crying.

" What why did she run away" Rubble asked

" Well you guys were so mean to her saying all that stuff about her when she did help. So she felt like you guys hated her and ran away." I said

" Wait Marshall she did help? Zuma said

Rocky then stood in front of all of us and said

" Yes guys she did help. She was brave probably even braver then me. She stood up to one of the big dogs that was attacking me telling the to get off of me. She then jumped at him and punched him in the face knocking him to the ground. She tried to fight the other one, but he was so much bigger than her she couldn't and the dog gave her a scar on her eye." He said

" Oh now I feel horrible for yelling at her." Said Chase

" Even when the dogs left she checked on me first. She didn't even care that she had got hurt all she did was make sure I was going to be ok." Rocky said

" Now I wonder if she will even come back." Rubble said sad

" Don't worry pups, I have a feeling she will be back someday." Ryder said then he left the room to let us eat.

Skye's P.O.V

I had been here now for a few weeks I hadn't had much to eat. I had caught a few things but nothing to big. I was all dirty now and was starting to get smaller due to the fact I hadn't been eating much. I walked up to a river and took a few sips from it. I missed being with the pups, but I knew they hated me. Marshall was the only one who didn't yell at me. It's like he knew I helped but couldn't say anything because of the other pups shushing him. I also knew Rocky wouldn't hate me because he was there when I helped. I hope he was doing ok.

Chase P.O.V

I was walking toward my pup house thinking about what I had done to Skye. I couldn't believe I yelled at her. She was everything to me and now she is probably scared of me. I walked into my pup house and looked at some photos I had. It was all the fun times me and Skye had together. I really missed her.

Ryder's P.O.V

I was in my room crying. Skye still hadn't come back and I was worried about her. She had never been away for this long. I heard a knock at my door so I wiped away my tears and told them to come in. It was Rocky.

" Hey Ryder I came to check on you cause I heard you crying." He said

" I wasn't crying." I said putting on a fake smile

" Ryder you don't have to hide it. It's ok to be sad we understand your just a kid and its hard going through stuff like this. Truth is I miss her too." He said while jumping on my bed.

" I know it's just I don't know if she will ever come back Rocky." I said crying

" Ryder I know she will come back. She has I place for us in her heart she couldn't just never come back, so don't lose hope." Rocky said laying his head on my lap

" Ok then I won't." For you guys.
