Chapter 7

Rubble P.O.V

We had arrived at the party and when we walked in it was amazing. There were nice tables set up for people and there was even a nice table set up for us pups. We looked around some more and there was even a dance floor.

Rocky P.O.V

There was a lot of cool stuff here. Then I saw a table full of food. I looked at Rubble and Marshall, then they looked at each other and said.. FOOD!! Then they ran off. I laughed and rolled my eyes then me and the rest of the pups went to sit at our table. We got to our table while Ryder went to go talk to Katie. We just talked about some fun times.

"Remember when Rubble had a dream that he met a genie" Skye said

We all laughed, " Oh yeah and he said he wished for a treat that would last forever." said Zuma

" That's our Rubble" Chase said, everyone laughed.

" Or the time Marshall wore Skye's gear to save the kitten" Said Rocky

" I remember that and he looked pretty silly wearing my gear" Skye said. We all shared a laugh

Zuma's P.O.V

After we shared those fun times it was time for the dance floor to open up, and the first song that played was pup pup boogie. We all looked at each other and we all ran to the dance floor doing our pup pup boogie moves. I have to say it was really fun. Then after that Skye and Everest left to go talk to each other since they never really see each other. Sometimes I feel bad for Skye because she doesn't really have any girl pups to talk to,but she says she doesn't mind cause she loves spending time with us. All us guys were just dancing to another song that came on when I asked...

" Hey Chase when you asking Skye to dance?"

" W-what do you mean..."

" Chase everyone knows you like Skye." Rocky said

Eventually Rubble and Marshall joined us.

" Hey Chase you ask Skye to dance yet?" Rubble said

" how...how to you guys all know." Chase said embarrassed.

" We see the way you look at her Chase... and we also see the way you go soft with her and your not so... serious and all that with her. Marshall said

Chase blushed.

" Just when a slow song comes on dance with her." Zuma said

" sigh... ok then." Chase said

Chase P.O.V

I went to go get a drink and freshen up before a slow song came on. I went into the bathroom and looked at myself in a mirror. " No way she'll like me... look at me and she's half the size as me. Marshall was listening to the hold thing and said

" Chase that's not true I've seen the way she looks at you and the way you make her so happy. Sometimes when your on missions and she at the lookout I catch her sad so I ask her whats wrong and she says it's because she misses you, and I promised her I would not tell anyone but I think you needed to hear that.

" Thanks Marshall." Chase said

Just then he heard a slow song come on and look at Marshall.

" You can do it." Marshall said

So I walked out and went toward Skye. My heart was racing when I saw her, but I kept going. I think Everest knew what was happening cause she told Skye she would be right back. I went up and tapped Skye on the shoulder..

" Um hey Skye... Chase said

" Hey Chase, what do you need? She asked

" Um I was wondering if...you .. um.. maybe want to d-dance with me?" Chase said

Her eyes widened she couldn't believe Chase wanted to dance with her. She never expected he want to dance with her.

" Of course I want to Chase. She said

So I took her to the dance floor and swept her off her feet.

Around twelve in the morning we left the party. On the way home me and Skye were walking really close to each other. When we got home and were by our pup houses Skye said..

" Thanks for the dance Chase. I really enjoyed it. Skye said with a smile on her face.

" Yeah I really enjoyed it too Chase said.

" Well we should get to bed, so goodnight Chase.

" Goodnight Skye."

And with that they fell asleep thinking everything was fine, but that was all about to change when something happens that can destroy their relationship forever....
