Skase - What is this feeling

Chapter 11

Skye's POV

It was about 8 in the morning and I was the only pup up. I was scared about talking to Zuma, Rubble and Chase. I know Ryder said they didn't hate me but I'm still anxious about it. I decided to get up and walk around before I went to confront them so I would be some what ready to speak to them.

I was walking around the lookout about to sit on a hill when I stopped in my tracks. It was Zuma sitting on the hill I was going to. I decided to go talk to him, so I took a deep breath and went forward. I walked up next to him and sat down. There was silence for a while until he spoke up. "Skye I'm so sorry, I should have never treated you like that. I know that put a big impact on you and I want you to know that I don't hate you." Then he gave me a hug. I was kind of tense at first but then I hugged back. " Thanks Zuma your a good friend". Then I walked away and into the lookout to eat.

By now all the pups were up and in the lookout eating. I sat by Marshall and Rocky since I was most comfortable with them right now. After we finished eating I was about to leave when Rubble came up to me. " I want you know I'm sorry, we really hurt you and put you down. I understand if you don't want to ever be my friend again but just know I'm sorry. I looked at him blankly then I smiled. " Rubble I'll always be your friend now matter what, just be careful and don't jump to conclusions next time. Then I gave him a hug and left the lookout.

Chase POV

I really missed hanging with Skye. I feel so bad I said those things to her even though I knew she would never not help someone in need. She is everything to me and now I don't think I'll be able to tell her. She's been avoiding me all day and I don't blame her. I just hope I can fix things with her today.

Skye's POV

It was dark out and I knew I needed to talk with Chase, It's just I'm so nervous. Everyone was going to bed and I was the last in the lookout. I walked out the doors and down to my pup house when I heard something like crying. I looked around for the sound and I looked and saw Chase. He was crying about something but I couldn't tell what it was about so I went closer and hid." Oh Skye, I'm so sorry, I love you to the moon and back and now I won't ever get to tell you that.... I wish you were right here by my side now." I felt bad and I knew I had to go talk to him.  "Alright here goes nothing" I thought and walked and sat by him.

He noticed me and his eyes got wide and he turned away from me. " Chase I know you didn't mean it, you guys just couldn't believe that he got hurt and weren't thinking straight....and I know you would never do anything to hurt me in any sort of way... and I can't say mad at you because.. I love you. "OH NO that last part wasn't supposed to come out "  I thought. He turned to me and looked me in the eyes. " Skye yo... you love me?" He said. " I do Chase I don't know what I would do without you in my life, even when I was away I couldn't stop thinking about you.."

He got closer to me and hugged me tight. " I love you too Skye." Then I looked up at him and our noses touched and we didn't move away. I knew now what this feeling was and it was love and It was a very powerful thing that brings people together. We looked into each others eyes and then I took my chance and did something I wanted to do for so long.....

I kissed him....
