You were sitting beside your father as he was speaking to people as you just sit there not saying a thing

"Wouldn't it be safer if the princess wasn't even in the earth kingdom?" Someone asks and your father shakes his head
"No my daughter will stay with me she's safer here then out there, who knows what could happen, and I need to protect my daughter she I won't allow her to go anywhere that's not with me." Your dad says and hey you can protect yourself! Maybe at first it would be hard but you'd get the hang of not having maids do everything for you some day, it would be difficult but you'd figure everything out your smart and hey you are a fire bender not like you'll freeze
One day you'll be able to be independent and you'll figure it out, just you wish your dad had more faith in you
Maybe he could teach you or have someone teach you to survive by yourself, incase you need to run away? You don't know something could happen and you could need help
After everything was over you went to your room and just got your stuff ready for training today

But then your uncle walks in "How are you today?" He says and you then explain everything that happened today and he nods "I see he does know we can take you in right? Like I get he may not want you away from him, your mothers family are always open to letting you stay with us." Your uncle says and you smile
"Thanks maybe you could tell my dad that, he seems like me wandering the wild is the only other option if I don't live here." You say and your uncle sighs
"He's very overprotective of you now get ready as I go and talk to him." He says and you nod
*I love my dad so much! But if I'm not safe here then I shouldn't be here!*
