Today you were with your father because the avatar was here and wanted to meet with your father. Apparently they've been trying for awhile. You had to cancel your date with Zuko because of it

Of course no one would let them which was weird and they stopped you in the street on your way to see Zuko with your guards and asked to please let them see your father as they had important information he needs to hear

And since you had arranged this you had to be here now so you couldn't go see Zuko

"My daughter told me you needed to talk to me about something." Your father says as you truly hoped this was quick

They talked about the war going on which you both knew was happening but weren't fully aware how bad it truly was well you didn't know your father probably did he liked to hide stuff like this from you

"If this is what you'll be talking to me about, y/n darling sorry you can leave enjoy your date with Lee." Your father says and you knew it he's hiding how bad the war is from you

"Yes father thank you, he will be surprised." You say as you smile happy you can get out of this and get to spend time with him

|Zukos Pov|

Uncle was talking to me in the back as we didn't really have any customers right now

"So are you going to stop this chasing the avatar? And just settle down with y/n?" Uncle says and I sigh of course it's what I have to do now I love her and I have a chance of starting something new, a new life a whole new identity

"Yes uncle, I'm done with it I don't need them I have y/n, and she accepts me no matter what I won't be disappointing her." I say and then I hear a voice behind me

"And how would you ever disappoint me?" Y/n says and I spin around shocked as she walks over and I pull her into a kiss

"Hey gorgeous I thought you had a meeting with your father?" I say a bit confused and she smiles

"Yes but then they discussed war and my father kicked me out and told me to come here." She says as she smiles at me as she wraps her arms around my neck

"Well whatever your here now, it's a slow day today so let's spend the day together." I say so happy she is here with me for today like we planned 'I am giving up my old life everything to do with, my dad, my sister, everything it's all gone I just wanna spend the rest of my life now with y/n by my side.'
