(👑Carmen's P.O.V)

When will the day be over? That's all I can ask for, the endless chattering and the disgusting loitering around me like vermin.

These greedy pig like bastards, wondering when will I choose an empress? If she's anything like you I daren't even let her touch the corner of my clothes.

Never mind ejaculating- considering that every drop of my blood and fluids is a corroding poison, I wonder whether she'll be screaming under me in complete pain before her death.

Though I doubt the servants would be able to tell the difference? It's not like they'd enter the Emperor's bedroom without permission.

The envoys have been arriving from the previous allied empires, since yesterday morning and Prince Hussayn bin Bashir has allowed his pet Cobra to roam freely in the garden of his assigned villa.

That's why the battlefield is such a simple place, all I can see are swords clashing and blood. The screams of my enemies, I guess when you have a sword placed against your neck you naturally become very honest.

Not like here when everyone's wearing a mask, makeup to hide an unsavoury appearance, disgusting sugar-coated words to hide dark intentions. But before me you can't hide a single thing, especially from the darkest corners of the soul.

That the scheming factions are trying to pull me from the throne despite my legitimacy and although unsatisfying guardian beast, when he has not failed to kill or protect the empire.

To stride forward being pulled along by a leash because he cannot return to the spirit world due to my body being an improper gateway for it.

No matter how much holy water and healing techniques they pump through me, it won't be enough.

Helio who normally has to live in an induced coma under the constant supervision of Priest Harrington, will slowly die an agonising death and be forced to lose its sanity and kill indiscriminately.

Losing its divine power and becoming a powerful demon, that not even a talented human could kill. Regardless of being a swordsman, mage or healer.

Eira who was surrounded by a wall of four Elven bodyguards stood awkwardly in the middle, the hood of her cloak forcibly pulled low by her brother. Chuckling to herself quietly as she played with the pockets of her floor length dress.

Waiting in a corridor she couldn't deny her nervousness, feeling the judgemental and curious gazes that pass by. Her brother going to give his greeting to the Emperor of Arcadius- which somehow sounded familiar.

Feeling a coarse hand reaching out to her,her cold hands trembling squeezed as she whispered calling out to the old guard in elvish.

"Iskhor, whats taking so long?"

"Don't worry princess... why don't you visit the garden with River?"

Nodding her head she walked two steps when she hears a loud and blood-curdling roar.

Turning around in horror, she pushed away her protectors approaching the gorgeous marble door without care.

Burly knights dressed in polished armour threateningly, held their swords out to her to prevent her from going closer.

"Get Back!"

"You can't enter without authorisation."

Not even saying a single word as the blade swung down ruthlessly, aiming for the side of her face. Only stopping to their surprise as she pinched a piece of each blade in between her fingertips.

"I'm the princess, what right do you have to stop me from going to my own brother?" Her voice fascinating like clean water rippling in their ears, attracted their undivided attention to her.

As her fingers tightened, the blades shattered into tiny shards and as fine as a powder with a silver lustre. A wintry chill emanating from her as her moonlike eyes glowed unsympathetically, pressing her hands against glossy doors. As threads of ice climbed up the sides and within the lock of the door, cold mist enveloped around her.

"Stop her!"

"Lady Eira!"

Ignoring their desperate calls the doors fell down into the opposite room, her eyes searching for Augustine, unknowing that ice under her feet was being spread into the throne room.

Hiding her presence in thick clouds of glacial water vapour.

"It was no wonder you were banished to the North, you Elves hid the final words of the Oracle."

"What about you humans?!, Wasn't  it enough that so many of our kin were killed because the Elven Queen refused to be a woman under the Emperor's belt?"

"Augustine."

"!"
