It's quite early in the morning, Hopper said he would give me another driving lesson. I didn't believe him, but I didn't tell him that. Because why the hell should someone have driving lessons at 7 AM on a school day? He did let me drive, I thought first we were going to his house. But the ways I had to go according to him wouldn't lead me to his house, nor the police station. He told us that we were driving to his little cabin in the woods. Why the fuck would we go there now? ''Hopper, why are we here? I don't believe it's just for breakfast cause I just could've done that at home.'' ''I knew you wouldn't believe it, but Joyce and Bob seemed to believe it. I actually have a suprise for you.'' ''What's the surprise?'' ''I can't tell you that, otherwise it won't be a surprise anymore, right?'' ''Fair enough... But really, what is it?'' ''You'll see.'' He said while he put the key in the lock and turned it. ''Kid! I'm back. I have a surprise for you!'' Who did Hop mean with kid? ''Kid!? You coming?'' Still no answer. I followed Hopper to a bedroom, on the way there I saw toys around and wordbooks. A lot of wordbooks. Could it be? No, it can't be her. Right? Hopper almost jumped backward. I couldn't see why he suddenly did that. Then I looked past him and saw a small figure with a white blanket and eyes, brown eyes. The kid said: ''Ghost.'' ''Yeah, I see that. But I have a surprise, you earn it.'' ''Wha-?'' Before she could answer she saw me. ''Tessie?'' The figure pulled the blanket of and it indeed revealed to be Eleven. ''Ellie!?'' I burst into tears and hugged her tightly. ''You're back! You're here! And you're safe!'' ''Why are you crying? Are you sad?'' ''No Ellie, I'm not sad. I'm crying out of happiness. I missed you so much.'' ''I missed you too Tessie.'' ''Does anyone know?'' I asked Hopper when I could talk normally again without voice cracks. ''No one, except you now.'' ''Thank you so much for letting me know this.'' ''No problem, when Eleven arrived here the first thing she asked was whether you were okay.'' ''How long has she been here?'' ''I think she came in February, it was still snowing.'' ''Well, I'm glad I know now that you're safe, but I think I gotta go now. It's 7:30AM and I would meet up with Nancy at 8.'' ''7 30 AM?'' Eleven asked. ''Yeah, AM is in the morning, PM is in the night.'' ''Have breakfast with us. I know Joyce wouldn't let you go to school till you have a full stomach.'' ''Yeah sure.'' We had breakfast which mostly included me talking with El, her grammar has gotten so good. She can talk normally. At 7:50 Hopper drove me back to the Byers' ''Thank you so much.'' ''Just let me know when you want to visit her, alright?'' I nodded, stepped out of the car, and walked to the house.
As promised I was at 8 with Nancy and we were waiting on Steve, when I had comen home Jonathan and Will had already left. I knew I couldn't tell anyone about Ellie, not even Nancy. ''What has gotten you so happy? I haven't seen you like this in the morning since you had sneaked smarties in your bag and ate half of the thing already.'' ''It's nothing, really. Just had a really good night of sleep.'' ''You met a guy. I know it.'' ''What? I didn't meet anyone.'' ''Yeah sure, I'm the first one to know when there comes a guy, right?'' ''Of course, you are, but I promise it isn't a guy.''
In a free period, I went with Nancy and Steve to the school library where we would make homework. It was math that I was falling behind on. ''Come on, why do we have this again? It's boring and unuseful.'' ''It's interesting and needed.'' Nancy answered me. ''Sure.'' I just couldn't see why math was useful. I heard Nancy her pencil breaking, she stood up and went to the sharpener. I kept an eye on her the entire time, at a moment her eyes were focused and kept being focused on a girl with red hair. Barbara? That's impossible, I saw Nancy thinking the same thing and she was breaking in front of my eyes. Steve stood up and walked to her. ''Nancy, what's going on. Are you okay?'' ''Excuse us for a moment please.'' She said to me before walking away with Steve. I nodded, knowing it would be about Barb. The only time I saw her was when there were slugs coming out of her mouth in the upside down.
It was evening and we just had dinner. Jonathan would really go trick or treating with Will and I'd go with Nancy to the party. Joyce was not 100% okay with me, the telekinesis and mind power girl going to a party where I could get drunk and accidentally use my powers and I would have to go back to the lab. Bob didn't really know all this. For him, I was just Joyce's adopted daughter. I wasn't adopted though, she was just my guardian. Not even legal I think. As long as I promised I wouldn't get drunk it was fine. I changed into my costume. I was the comic version of the 1974 version of the scarlet witch. I honestly loved her so much, she's so cool and badass and amazing and good looking and our powers are really similar. I knew I would have to explain my costume to at least some people, but that would be okay. At the end of the day, I was just going as my favorite comic character. Jonathan dropped me of at the Wheeler's ''Are you sure you're not coming?'' ''I'm sure, I promised mom to stay with Will.'' ''Okay fine, well have fun trick or treating and you better share at least some of the candy with me.'' I stepped out of the car, closed the door and rang the bell at the Wheelers' house. Nancy opened the door and the first thing I asked her was: ''Who are you supposed to be?'' ''Lana, from risky business. You?'' She obviously hadn't read any comics, but when Steve revealed to be inside and saw me he immediately said: ''Hey! That's scarlet witch, I love her!'' ''I know right, she's amazing.'' ''Who's a Scarlet witch?'' Nancy asked. ''Just the hottest and most powerful heroin in the whole universe!'' Steve answered.
