Time goes by II

2 months later

During these months, I have been working at my own pace, making sure everything was perfect, as well as relaxing, and hanging out with my friends.

The preparation for the show has been a lot of fun, despite being exhausted. Rihanna set up the show in a way that each performance flowed smoothly. So I worked a lot with her and other performers as well as the gorgeous models. It was an experience that taught me a lot about myself and how I balance things and not be completely submerged in work.

Anthony and Jane were still going strong in New Orleans and came back to New York a week before the show. They were happy as ever, without complications and just so sweet. I wish I could've had that.

Chris had gone back and forth from Boston and New York whenever he could during these months. Every time he came, he claimed my guest room, and at this point, it's his bedroom. Each time he was here, he would take me out to lunch and dinners, and he made me happy, but we have never gone past friendship. He respected the fact that I was dealing with my feeling for Seb.

When it comes to Sebastian, I only saw him once since the premiere. He pops up on the news with Myra here and there, but I'd mostly avoided it at all costs. He attempted to talk to me once, and let's just say it was an interesting experience.

The day of the attempt

*phone rings*

I saw the screen, and it was Sebastian's name on the screen. He finally decides to contact me, a month after the premiere took place. Despite every ounce of my body not wanting to pick up the phone, I was still curious about what he had to say.

"What do you want?" I immediately asked after picking up the phone.

"Open your door," he responded. I went straight to my door and looked through the peephole to see Sebastian standing there, so I opened the door.

"Hey," he said.

"You didn't answer my question."

"Can I come in at least?" he asked and made way for him to come and then closed the door.

He walked and stood by a couch, signaled for him to take a seat and so he did.

"First of all, I came by to apologize to you," he said as I took a seat on the couch opposite him, "you don't deserve what I've been putting you through, and I know this apology is a bit late, but I needed to let you know that."

"Secondly?" I asked without acknowledging his apology nor looking at him.

"I broke up with Myra."

His words struck me by surprise and I looked at him confused with disbelief.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yeah, I am," he responded, "after our talk, I saw how much this was hurting you. It was unfair for me to do that to you so, I decided to end the deal earlier."

"How did Myra take it?" I asked as I digested his words.

"Not that well," he answered, "She just asked me not to announce it until she got a role she's been wanting."

"And when the word gets out, what will you do next?"

"I'll do everything in my power to make things right with us," he said as he stood up and came to see by my side, "If you still have feelings for me too," he help my hand.

I sat there in silence, at loss for words, all I wanted for the longest time but, something was holding me back.

"Please, Y/N, say something."

"I-," I stuttered, "I don't know what to say."

"Aren you with Chris now?" he asked.

"No, he is a friend," I said, as I took my hand away from his, "that has been helping me get over you!"

I stood up and began to walk in a circle with my hands on my head, in disbelief of everything that was just said.

"Look Seb," I started to speak, "your little speech won't just fix everything in a second and-"

"I know and-" he stood up and interrupted me.

"Let me finish!" he sat back down, "and I don't think I trust you anymore. You have said everything that I have been wanting to hear for months, and I'm scared to accept you back, what if you do it all over again?"

"I get that," he said, stood and walked towards me, "then let me earn it back, I promise, that then moment this is done, I'm yours and only yours."

As soon as he got to me, he put his warm hands on my face and held with such care.

"Please, let me do this, doll," he whispered as he got closer to my lips, "I won't let you down."

With that final whisper, I kissed him, and it felt so good. I felt the butterflies awaken after so long. I wrapped my arms around him, bringing our bodies closer together, allowing me to feel his warmth. His kiss was soft, smooth, and so sweet I couldn't get enough.

He stopped kissing me for a second to say, "I missed you so much."

That night was perfect, it felt like things were normal and for a second it felt like no time went by. Unfortunately, that was the last time we saw each other. The following month we just texted and had phone calls to avoid pictures being taken. Just like he would attend the show, as my "friend".
