Sebastian Stan's POV

I walked into the living room and her beautiful face lights up.

"Hey, you!" she happily exclaimed, "I just finished making the popcorn, come sit down so we finish the movie."

I sat down next to her, and my mind went wild as I thought of various ways to break the news to her. The distance was the last thing I wanted for us at this point. Even though I worked hard for this role, leaving now would be disappointing.

"Is everything okay?" she asked, bringing my attention back into the room.

"Yeah, yeah, everything is fine" I answered, "It's just something Emily said,"

"Do you wanna talk about it?" she asked softly and turned to face me.

"Remember that role I auditioned for?" I started to speak, "The role for that biopic, Pam & Tommy?"

"Of course," she said, "did you not get it?"

"I did get it actually," I said looking down at my hands which were grasping my phone.

"Congratulations!" she yelled as she jumped out of her seat and hugged me tightly. "I so happy for you, Seb," she whispered into my ear.

"Then why do look so upset?" she asked as she pulled away from my embrace.

"Well," I paused, "she said they wanna start filming in a week."

"Ohh," she said with a hind of sadness.

"Yeah," I said looking down again, "and she booked my ticket to LA for tomorrow."

"Wow, that's fast," she mentioned.

"Yeah, and I'm not gonna try to convince you to go to LA with me right now, especially with everything going on. I was actually thinking of not going and-"

"No," she cut me off, "you have to go. I'm sad about you leaving, yes, but I'm really happy for you. I know how hard you worked, and I'm really proud of you."

"Thank you, doll," I said and planted kisses on both her hands.

"It's a pleasure," she replied, "I think, I will lay low here for a bit. I'm not ready for LA or NY just yet."

"I completely understand," I immediately said, "I want you to come when you're ready to be with me there, or I'll come back and visit."

"All of that can be arranged," she said, "I'm just glad you understand and that you got the role this calls for a celebration."

She walked to the fridge, pulled out a champagne bottle then handed it to me to open. I did as she brought over two glasses.

"To you, Sebastian Stan, congratulations on the role, I can't wait to see how amazing you do," she said, and we clinked our glasses.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," she replied and kissed me.

The rest of the day, I made sure to make her feel special, to make her as happy as I could. I wanted to make sure she knew how important she was to me.

11:00 am the next day

The next day, we had a great morning as we tried to keep the sadness away as I packed my things to leave. After breakfast, we made our way to the airport, and it was the hardest goodbye, but it was for a good cause.

"I'll see you soon, okay?" I said with our foreheads leaning against each other.

"Very soon," she responded, "I love you, Seb, have a great flight."

"I love you too, I'll call you when I get there."

"You better."

"I will," I said and gave her a passionate kiss. "Never thought leaving Boston would be this hard," I added.

"It's temporary," she murmured, "soon we'll take over the world and I'll take you everywhere."

"I can't wait."
