Trigger Warnings -

A lot of events can occur within a month, and many did during the month stay Tommy had at Techno's. Ranboo had visited a few days after and Tommy and him sat and talked on the couch for quite awhile. Phil and Techno were still wary of Ranboo but Tommy had seemed to enjoy his company so much that they pushed their distrust aside for now. Ranboo visited so often that Techno had joked he practically lived there. Ironically within a week of him saying that Ranboo now had a nearby house set up so he could visit Tommy easier, and Tommy could come hang out with him.

The Blood God didn't object to this move so Phil didn't either, but they made sure Ranboo knew he was still untrusted.

Usually the Blade was away, training and preparing, when Tommy asked what for, Phil often replied for the future. Tommy didn't ask any further questions.

The blonde had been warming up to the three fast, he started talking more and eating better. Nothing bad really happened except for that one time Phil had said a swear word and sent Tommy into a panic attack. Other than that it had been fine, Tommy even started telling them a bit of what happened to him but he never went to far into the memories or told them with explicit details.

All was fine with them, but for Dream, he was mad. Tommy was getting better and Dream knew that, he was watching them, stalking them, observing them. How badly he wanted to jump in and jump out with Tommy. After all the work he went through, he made the mistake of leaving the door cracked and Tommy was out. He was so close, and he ruined it. It angered him.

Unfortunately there was nothing much Dream could do, at least he thought he couldn't.

Tommy finished his portion of eggs before getting up and putting his plate in the sink. "D-Phil?" He started, correcting himself before anyone could give him looks for calling Phil, 'dad.' "Can I head over to Ranboo's? Please?" He asked, voice still quiet, but not as much as it once was.

"Sure! Me and Techno are going to head out for the day okay? We'll be back by sunrise I hope, so tell Ranboo you have to stay the night." Phil answered, giving him the go ahead with a few cautions.

Techno started sputtering on his words. "Wait wait wait, Phil that's not what we agreed." He argued. Techno was going to go get wither skulls, for future purposes, and Phil was supposed to stay home.

"I'm not letting you go to the nether alone, Techno, no matter how skilled you are mate, and plus it'd be good for trust with Ranboo." Tommy wasn't listening to their small argument anymore. He had grabbed a cape from the rack- the one that Technoblade had bestowed upon him- and left the house to head over to Ranboo's house.

Knocking on the door, Ranboo opened it up and smiled. "Hey Toms! Wanna come inside?" He stepped to the side, letting Tommy inside, and closing the door behind him.

"Philza said he and Techno are heading out... they aren't gonna be back til sun rise he thinks." Tommy mumbled, Ranboo nodded and hummed to acknowledge the information given.

"So you have to stay the night?" He looked back at Tommy, waiting for a nod, before turning back. "Cool, you wanna sit down?"

Tommy nodded again and sat down on the couch, watching the fire crack and sputter, it was a pretty cool fire place dare he say- pogge- no, he didn't... the thought of using his old line made him feel sick in the stomach, and he'd prefer to keep the eggs down. "What have you been up to Ranboo?" He asked.

Ranboo was heard shuffling in the other room before coming back. "Nothing much, just getting situated." He sat down with Tommy. "Eat anything today?"

"Eggs." He answered. "I finished my plate!" He said excitedly, eyes lighting up with joy and pride. Ranboo smiled with him.

"That's great!" He praised him.

Tommy paused for a few minutes, and Ranboo let the silence sit, wondering what was going through the teen's head. "Ghostbur hasn't visited yet."

"I'm sure he will soon, Tommy." Ranboo comforted him. The two of them enjoyed their day together,  engaging in small talks, while reading and drawing too.  They had lunch and dinner and eventually night had fallen and Tommy passed out on the couch.

Ranboo smiled as he watched him sleep before going to get a blanket so he didn't freeze. Once he had him wrapped up he went up to his room and went to bed himself. A few hours passed when Ranboo stood up from his bed again in the middle of the night, but he wasn't himself.

Climbing down the creaky ladder he turned into the living room, seeing Tommy and the dying fire. Ranboo walked forward and paused for a few seconds before sweeping Tommy up into his arms and leaving the house.

Ranboo was enderwalking, and he was heading towards the woods with a sleeping child in his arms.
