I read a Lucy x Acnologia book that had over 5000 words per chapter, so now I have to step up my game.

Recap: Fairy Tail wasn't fairing too well with the loss of three friends. One mage in particular, Gray, was affected the most by the departure of his ex-best friend. Doranbolt, a member of the magic counsel, arrived to Fairy Tail to show them what really happened the day Natsu "destroyed" a village. Now that everyone knows the truth, they couldn't feel more ashamed.

CHAPTER 7: Thank You, Zeref...

At Alvarez Empire~

"So, tell me, how did you not know you had a older brother? Whom you are related to by blood." Lucy inquired. They were all sitting in the guest room Zeref had set up for them. It had a huge, soft and fluffy bed in the middle. A big carpet in the center of the room, as well as a giant window on the wall opposite of the door. Zeref had made sure his guests were 110% comfortable after the troubling journey they had.

"I don't know. I don't have any memories of him whatsoever. That's why I think we should be on high alert. We don't know what Zeref could be planning. For all we know, he's probably trying to get us to agree to some evil plan so he can destroy Fiore." Natsu replied sharply. He didn't even attempt to give Zeref the benefit of the doubt. But then again, can you blame him for being on high alert?

"Natsu... I think you should at least try to listen to Zeref, he may be telling the truth. Not a lot of people would make up stuff like that." Lucy said softly. Natsu simply growled and shook his head violently. Lucy sighed, then gave it a second shot, "Look, I know it's a stretch or whatever, but I really believe he's telling the truth. Maybe, we should ask him, exactly how you're his brother."

Happy nodded in agreeance, "I agree with Lushi, maybe we should just ask Zeref. If he gives us some good proof, then you have to trust him. If there isn't any proof, or it seems very fake, we'll leave." Natsu clenched his fists before sighing and nodding his head. He stood up from the bed and headed towards the door, Happy and Lucy following behind him.

Unfortunately for the trio of friends, they had absolutely no clue where the heck they were going. They spent 50 minutes running around the castle, and still no Zeref. "Natsu, we've been here already. We've past this exact same door 8 times. As a matter of fact, this is our room!" Lucy groaned in frustration. Natsu insisted he could use his sense of smell to lead them straight to Zeref, but that wasn't working.

Natsu ran his hands through his hair and let out a huff of annoyance. There was no way for him to find the exact location of Zeref, the whole castle smelt like him! The three of them decided to give up and walked back into their room. Surprisingly enough, Zeref was in there, sitting at the foot of the bed. The three let out a sigh of relief, but also anger.

Relief since they had finally found Zeref, more or less. And anger because they went around the castle ten thousand times and could find him at all. Zeref noticed them at the door and smiled brightly, "There you all are. I was starting to think you three had left." Lucy giggled a little bit at Zeref's smile, it was so much like Natsu's, and very adorable. Happy just flew on top of Lucy's head and passed out. All the walking and flying around had him beat. Natsu, well, he was ready to kick Zeref's ass.

"How long have you been in here? We've been searching the whole world for you!" Lucy whimpered as she went over to him and sat on the floor in front of the foot of the bed. Natsu joined Lucy on the floor shortly after. "I've been there for like... 55 minutes I believe." Zeref responded happily. Natsu and Lucy's jaws dropped. "So you mean to tell us we just spent 50 minutes searching for you when you were right here?!" Natsu and Lucy snapped at the same time.
