How Could You Guys...

Recap: Master Makorav showed the guild a horrifying clip of Natsu terrorizing and murdering innocent people. Then later, Natsu Lucy, and Happy came back from their little job request. The guild shouts hurtful things to Natsu and Makarov tells him to leave. While this happened, a certain celestial mage was being pushed to her boiling point. And now, she's ready to let it loose. What will happen after Lucy looses control?

CHAPTER 3: How Could You Guys...

"Are you all being serious...?" A shaky voice asked from the side. The guild diverted their heads from Natsu to the source of the voice. Her blonde bangs we're covering her eyes as she clenched her fists. "Lucy...?" Erza questioned as she walked up to the upset girl.

Just as the redhead was about to place a hand on her shoulder, Lucy slapped it away. "I just don't understand why you all are doing this. Natsu has done so much for us, just so you all can repay him like this..." Lucy couldn't take it anymore. She wasn't going to let this slide.

"YOU GUYS ARE THE WORST! WHO JUST UP AND BETRAYS ONE OF THEIR FRIENDS LIKE THIS?! NATSU HAS DONE NOTHING BUT MADE US ALL FEEL LOVED AND PROTECTED! AND YOU ALL JUST SAY ALL OF THESE CRUEL AND HORRIBLE THINGS! ESPECIALLY YOU LISANNA, I THOUGHT YOU LOVED HIM!!" Lucy screamed at the top of her lungs. There's 0 doubt that her throat will be sore as hell when she's done.

"This isn't the guild I joined. The guild that Natsu brought me too was sweet and loving. This isn't the guild. This isn't my home. So if Natsu leaves... I'LL LEAVE WITH HIM!" Lucy finished as she wanted to try and catch her breath. Her face was wet with tears. She wasn't the only one. Happy was still on her head, his nose was runny as he silently cried.

At this point in time, all Natsu could think about was how happy he was to have Lucy as a best friend. "L-Lucy..." Natsu mumbled to himself as tears slid down his tanned face. Makorav stared at the young mage in shock. He wasn't expecting such an outburst from this cheerful girl.

"Master, if you're gonna kick Natsu out, then you can kick me out too." Lucy said as she walked up to the short man and held out her hand. She wanted Makorav to remove her guild mark. "Lucy! You don't have to do this! Wasn't joining Fairy Tail your dream?!" Natsu intervened. He didn't want to force Lucy out the guild.

"It was, but not anymore. I'd much rather be somewhere else than here." Lucy said in a confident tone, completely forgetting about the fact she's still crying. "Child, I don't know if- Do it." Makarov began before he was soon cut off by Lucy. Happy flew down from Lucy's head and turned his back to Makarov.

"You can get rid of my mark too. I'm sticking with Natsu all the way!" Happy said as he removed his cloth. The guild was taken completely by surprised. They weren't expecting Lucy and Happy asking to get their insignia's removed. The Master finally spoke up, "I'm sorry children, but I just cannot do this."

"That's fine," Lucy began. "I can do it myself." Lucy pulled out a random key from her satchel and ran it over her guild mark. In less than a second, is disappeared. She bent down and ran the key along the Fairy Tail mark on Happy's back. Makarov stared wide eyed at the scene that just played in front of him.

"Let's go." Lucy said as she picked up Happy and started walking to the guild doors where Natsu was standing. But now, he wasn't crying, he was deeply upset. Because now, for whatever reason, Makarov kicking him out has influenced his best friends to want to leave too.

"Wait! Lucy, Happy! Please don't leave!" It was Lisanna. She was becoming very close to Lucy and she loved Happy like a son. But, the pair didn't even turn around. Lucy just kept walking. She grabbed Natsu's hand and the trio walked out of the guild, slamming the doors behind them. Now, they were back at Lucy's apartment.

"Are you two idiots!? Why would leave the guild just because I was kicked? Happy, what about Carla? And Lucy, this was your dream! And now you're gonna throw it all away for no reason?!" Natsu scolded, he was angry, hurt, and many more things. But above all, he was disappointed. Disappointed in himself for not trying harder to stop his friends from leaving the guild.

"Natsu, we don't care what you have to say." Happy said in a Stern voice, well, stern for him. Lucy agreed, "We couldn't bare to be in that guild hall without you. And I'm not giving up my dream. And I'd rather die than let you say I left the guild for no reason. You're not a 'no reason', you're my best friend! Not to mention my first one at that."

"... You guys are the greatest." Natsu replied softly before he started crying. Lucy and Happy immediately embraced Natsu is a tight hug. They stayed like that for a while until Happy fell asleep. Lucy set Natsu down on one of her pillows and covered his body with a cute little blanket she made especially for him.

"So, what should we do now?" Natsu asked as he looked at the guild mark on his shoulder. Makarov got distracted and forgot to remove it. "Well, I've been wanting to train a lot lately, and find these powerful keys." Lucy said as she took another one of her keys and slid it over Natsu's mark, causing it to disappear.

"Why do you want to train?" Natsu questioned. "Well, lately, I've been kind of thinking to myself about how you always save me. So, one day, I wanna be able to do the same for you and Happy!" Lucy replied happily. Natsu couldn't help but let out his signature toothy grin.

"You've already saved Happy and I, and in more ways than one. But if you want to, then I think it's a great idea." Natsu said, still a little confused on what the blonde meant. She's protected him millions of times. He shrugged it off and latest down in her bed. Lucy giggled as she tucked Natsu in.

"Your not going to sleep?" Natsu asked as he watched Lucy sit at her desk. "Nah, I wanna work on my novel, even though it's kinda pointless since Levy won't read it anymore. But I've already started and won't stop untill I'm finished." Lucy said as she took her pen and began writing. Natsu chuckled as he dozed off to sleep.

It was the next day and Natsu, Lucy, and Happy were all ready to start training. Lucy decided to leave her apartment for good and gave the landlady her best. Natsu and Happy took whatever they needed from their place and they all met outside the guild.

"Are you boys ready?" Lucy asked, she was clearly excited about training. "Hell yeah!" Natsu shouted as Happy followed with an, "Aye sir!" The three of them then began to leave. Lucy turned around once more and stared for a second and whispered to herself.

"How could you guys..."
