Unnecessary Pranks (Pt. 2)

Natsu, Lucy, and Happy got cleaned up and joined Zeref downstairs in the massive dining room. Zeref sat at the opposite end of Natsu while Lucy and Happy sat right next to each other in the seats in front of the window sills. The maids and butlers brought out a plethora of foods for breakfast, and Natsu could only smirk as one of the maids brought him his hot sauce. She passed it to him from below the table so no one could see it. Now that all the food was out and set up, Natsu could begin his ultimate prank comeback. 

"Hey Zeref, I left the E.N.D book outside on the bench, can you go get it?" Natsu asked happily as he took a bite out of his food. Zeref looked at him with a confused face before getting up and walking out the room. He would've asked someone else to get it, but he doesn't like it when other people besides him touch the book. Now that he was out of the room, Natsu turned to Happy and Lucy. 

"Hey Luce, I left my muffler upstairs, bring it down for me please?" Natsu asked with the cutest puppy dog eyes he could muster up. Lucy — just like Zeref — stared at him with a confused face, wondering how the hell he left the scarf that he never takes off in their room. She was extremely close to telling him do it himself, before she gave a little nod and walked out the room. Lucy didn't feel like going back and forth with Natsu, especially so early in the morning.

Natsu didn't bother trying to get rid of Happy, he was too deep in fish land to notice anything around him. With his face stuffed with salmon and his eyes shut tight, there was no way anyone or thing could break him out of his trance. Natsu popped the cap off of the hot sauce and made his way to the other side of the room.

He couldn't help but chuckle evilly as he poured half the bottle all over Zeref's plate. He made sure to mix it in so it wouldn't be so noticeable. Once he finished, he went straight over to Lucy's plate in the middle of the table. Lucy didn't pull a prank on him, but he wanted to get back at her for the shower comment. So he poured a little bit in her soup, knowing it'll be more than enough. Lucy isn't a fan of spicy foods, so he didn't have to go all out.

He quickly made his way back to his seat and just as he sat down, Lucy and Zeref came waltzing back in the room. Lucy gave Natsu his muffler before going back to her chair and taking a seat. Zeref set his book down on the table next to his plate before he began eating. He noticed that his food was now a bit red, but he couldn't care less for her was starving.

Natsu watched the two of them eat with a huge smile on his face. Unfortunately, that smile began to falter after he watched the both of the take continuous bites and sips of their food. Neither one of them were reacting to the hot sauce. As a matter of fact, it was almost as if Natsu never even poured it in their food. He gritted his teeth as he waited in anticipation for a little reaction out of one of them. He rubbed his head in confusion as he slowly slumped down in his chair.

"Oh yeah! We knew you were going to put hot sauce in our food." Zeref said with a smile before he continued eating. Natsu immediately jumped out of his chair with a red face, showing nothing but rage. He refused to believe that his perfect prank had gone to waste.

"I DON'T BELIEVE YOU! HOW DID YOU GUYS KNOW?!" He shouted. Happy swore he could feel the room shake from his voice, but it could've just been his little imagination. Lucy giggle before recalling the events earlier whilst they were in the bathroom.

"You told us about it while I was drying your head. I guessed that you were just supposed to be imagining it in your head, so we didn't want to interrupt you." She answered before taking a few sips of her apple juice. Natsu could only stare at her as he shook with anger. How in the world could she sit there as if she didn't just ruin the best idea Natsu has ever come up with? The nerve of that girl.

"Don't feel bad baby brother. If it makes you feel better, I'll play dolls with you!" Zeref said as he clasped his hands together with stars in his eyes. Natsu narrowed his eyes at him before growling and sitting back down in his seat.

"Hell no."

Zeref sighed as he rolled his eyes playfully. "Anyways, I casted a spell on Lucy and I while we were all in the bathroom so we wouldn't feel the spice when we eat, or later after the spell wears off." Natsu let out a huff before quickly devouring his food. For such a genius plan to pop-up into Natsu's head rarely ever happens. So for Lucy and Zeref to completely ruin it made him gloom.

"It's okay Natsu, I'm side you'll get us next time. Now can we stop with the unnecessary Pranks?" Lucy asked with a little tick mark popping up on her forehead. She didn't feel like having to constantly look over her shoulder in fear of an incoming prank. Natsu nodded his head before crossing his arms and pouting like a child.

Zeref smiled at his brother's antics before he remember something, "I forgot to tell you guys, but the Spriggan 12 are coming back today!"

"The Spirit 12?" Natsu asked, completely confused. What else is new?
