Danny POV

I woke up from my sleep and felt more exhausted rather than refreshed.

I began to wonder why it does that, but I always forget to ask Ruse about it.

So, I guess it's a hobby to forget things.

Although I was scared about seeing dead kids now, I wasn't scared to see that gangster.

I wonder why...

Anyway, I got up from my bed and turned to see what time it was.

It was already four in the afternoon, making me slightly frown.

'Damn, that long? Oh well,' I thought, going to change and get some brunch.

Once I was done, I head downstairs to see no one at the table.

'Guess that's enough for me!' I thought as I searched through the kitchen.

There wasn't plenty of food there, but last night's leftover was at all that I could find.

I got it, heated it, and left to head straight back to my room.

'Wonder where's Ruse?' I thought, biting into my brunch.

Meanwhile

Ruse POV

"That wasn't you, was it?" My other half asked me.

I replied with a no, making me feel unease.

"So, there is a murderer out there other than you," She said, making me irritated.

'Shut up...' I replied, flying over to see who it was.

"You like Danny as a friend, don't you?" She asked, making me annoyed again.

'No...' I told her with a dangerous tone.

This didn't stop her from asking, and with that, I shut her up.

I saw someone running with blood from their shirt, and with that, I decided to head over.

I flew invisibly to see it was the same guy that bothered Danny.

'Oh, hell, no...' I thought darkly before killing him mercilessly.

'Well, now that's done, let's over to Danny,' I thought, knowing that my other half wouldn't answer.

I flew over to Danny to see that he was eating last night's food.

I frown but didn't usher a word as soon as I entered.

Danny smiled as soon as he saw me, and with that, we chatted for the rest of the day.

Nothing can bother us with more problems, right?

And I was so glad to know that I was wrong...

Time skip, a few weeks later

Danny POV

A few weeks had passed since the mysterious murder of the students.

It turns out it was from the guy that wanted to kill me, and he ended up dead a few hours later.

I don't know it was from Ruse or not, but I was glad that he was dead for once.

He probably killed more innocent people, and that wasn't good.

Back to my life, right now, I'm walking out of class when I saw Dash and Kwan bullying Mikey.

Normally, they would run away from me whenever I'm close, but I purposely laughed after they saw me and left Mikey all swollen up.

'Oh boy, that was something alright~!' I thought, still laughing.

Just then, I saw Phantom with Sam and Tucker trying to escape from Skulker and Ember.

I withheld my laugh as I saw Ember shot her guitar spell on Phantom, making him fly to a house.

'Omg, this day gets better and better~!' I thought before walking away.

And for some reason, I didn't felt guilty.

Not at all...

'I guess that they say people really do change...' I thought darkly.

I walked with a 'smile' on my face and saw so many 'funny' things happening.

People fighting, kids bullying others, weaker kids, hitting, and so many 'fun' things.

I laughed at all of it and didn't feel a slight bit of pity.

Once I arrived home, I started to change my shirt and looked at my arms.

The symbols were now bright green, making me not feeling unease but amazed.

'I guess I'm really that different from everyone... Oh well,' I thought.

I turned away to see some new clothes, but what I didn't know was a dark figure staring at me.

I felt a slight shiver, but I paid no attention to it.

After all, my morals are starting to change for the better...

For the better...
