Danny POV

'W-Where am I?' I thought, looking around in this empty void.

I was full of questions and can barely remember what happened before I blacked out.

"Where's Ruse?" I suddenly ask, trying to find her and get answers.

However, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't move.

'What-'

I looked at the chains wrapped around my arms and feet.

'How-'

"It's quite simple," A voice behind me said.

I looked back to see the same figure that spoke to me not too long ago.

"If you have questions, then ask. I don't have all day. Wait, that's a lie, I do have the free time," 'She' said with a smirk on my face.

I thought carefully and said, "Who are you?"

"I'm the Ghost Queen," She simply replied.

"Why do you look like me?"

"Because the spell has been completed."

"What-"

"Spell? The one 'Ruse' was forced to use on you."

I stopped asking for a bit before shouting, "Where is she?!"

"How should I know? She's gone, Fenton," She emphasizes the word gone.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked, trying not to believe any word she's saying.

"I used her as bait to finally possess someone, aka, you," She said without any hesitation.

My mind broke into glasses, and I tried to lash out at her.

Unfortunately, I couldn't move, and she evilly laughs at me.

"Wow, Danny, after everyone you knew left you, you really thought that Ruse was a being? How pathetic of you!"

I felt myself falling to the floor with tears falling.

"How could you..." I mumbled, remembering what Ruse and I did together.

"'Ruse' was fake, Fenton. And never real..." She said darkly before leaving me to rot alone.

'Why?' I thought, slowly losing myself.

'Why me?'

With Katheren and the Ghost Queen

Katheren POV

"Take Dan and get out of here. I'll take care of this," I said without looking at them.

"But-" I heard Phantom said, but I shouted back, "Now!"

I heard some shuffling and I knew that Dan with the rest of them was gone.

I glared at the Ghost Queen, who snarled at me for the kick.

"So, that was you?" She tauntingly said.

I shrugged and then scowled at her.

"With you being that distracted, it could've gone different ways, your Majesty," I mockingly said.

"Oh my, way to make sure your queen feels appreciated," She said before flying over to me, attempting to hit me.

I dodged and ended up hitting her stomach, which made her flying over to another wall.
