Chapter 11- Finding the Veridicality

Phantom POV

While I was arguing with Sam and Tucker about the symbols, we didn't know that Danny left until it was too late.

Once we looked at Danny, he was gone.

"Damn it!" I exclaimed, placing my hands to my face.

Sam and Tucker didn't say a thing, knowing that they feel the same thing as well. 

"Look, guys, I know what I saw. Danny had those symbols in his arms, and I know that something is wrong," I sternly said, removing my hands.

They still weren't sure, but they didn't deny my trust.

"Maybe it's a ghost thing? I mean, you and Danny did separate," Tucker mentioned.

Sam and I paused and thought this through.

If I could see it, then would other ghosts see it as well? Even Vlad?

Questions started forming in my head, and I knew that the results weren't pretty. 

'What if something happened to Danny? What if something sinister affected him? What if-'

"Chill out, dude. Even Danny wouldn't make that face," Tucker stated, noticing that I was thinking too much.

"Oh, sorry..." I mumbled, looking down.

Sam knew what I was thinking and sighed.

"We'll pull this through, Phantom. With or without him in our lives..." She said.

"I know, it just-"

"Sam's right, Phantom. If Danny doesn't want to be us, then what's the point of forcing it?" Tucker interrupted.

"True..." I said before sighing.

'Still, I get the feeling that those symbols mean-'

"Trouble, exactly," A voice replied, finishing my thought.

We spun to see Vlad there.

"What are you doing here, Fruitloops?" I said, knowing that he hates that name.

"I told you my name is not- Anyway, getting off track, I'm here to discuss Danny if you want to hear," Vlad said, looking serious.

I held in my remark because he did mention Danny's name, but Sam and Tucker won't back down.

"Don't even mention his name, Masters," Sam hissed.

 Tucker didn't say anything, but I knew he was thinking the same.

"Guys, let's hear him out, and then we can decide if he's lying or not," I replied, glaring at Vlad.

This made both Sam and Tucker uneasy, but it was simply accurate to Vlad.

"Alright, then, let's go to your hideout, Phantom. I don't want anyone watching us..."

I, reluctantly, let Vlad come with us.

However, when we got there, I saw Skulker, Ember, Kitty, Johnny, Johnny's Shadow pet, Youngblood, Spectra, Desiree, Pointdexter, Box Ghost, and Walker.

"W- You set this up!" I exclaimed, ready to fight them.

"Calm down, we're not going to fight you!" Kitty exclaimed, holding her hands up as a 'surrender' gesture. 

The rest did, much to the dismay, and it slightly calmed me down.

We sat around the table, with Sam and Tucker right next to me, and we were all uncomfortable.

"So, anyone wanna mention what's going on with Danny?" Tucker intervene, trying to make it sound reassuring. It didn't.

None of us spoke until Vlad cleared his throat.

"Has anyone noticed that they saw symbols around Daniel's arms?" Vlad asked.

We all nodded except Sam and Tucker.

All of us got shocked when we gave the same answer.

"Did anyone noticed how his attitude changed?" Vlad asked again.

We nodded again. 

Each time Vlad asked questions, we gave out the same response.

No matter how crazy it was, the answer was still the same.

'This is getting weirder and weirder...' I thought, biting my lips. 

None of us spoke again, but this time, Ember cleared her throat.

"Maybe it's her, guys... Maybe she's the one making Dip-Stick change..." Ember said.

Everyone, except Sam, Tucker, Vlad, and I, were giving each other worried looks.

"I thought they killed her, permanently!" Kitty exclaimed, holding Johnny's hand tightly.

"Who?" I spoke, fulling regretting asking the question.

"The Ghost Queen," Ember stuttered out.

Every ghost, except Vlad and I, either shrieked or screamed at the name.

"Who?" Vlad asked this time.

The ghosts looked at him and then at Team Phantom.

"Alright then, here's another story about her so be prepared..." Skulker said.

We all sat down, and I was going to hear who is this queen, and what is she doing to my Danny...
