Ranboo yawned, stretching his arms and legs all over your bed, taking most of the space. You were tempted to kick him off but decided not to. He was doing it on purpose to bug you.

"What" You groaned finally pulling your leg back and flinging it forward into his back. "I'm bored" "Ok?"  Ranboo pouted into the sensation of lavender sheets. He looked at the window, it had a perfect view of the forest.

The house was isolated, another reason you wanted to leave. Your parents weren't on good terms with their parents so that didn't make it any better.

The scenery was nice, with pretty flowers, tall trees, and fresh air but it could drive you insane. You stared at the window for long seconds along with Ranboo.

"I'm leaving" "Take me with you!" Ranboo quickly stood to his feet, swaying a little from the fast nauseous pricking his brain. "I'm only going around the pond"

A pond that was filled with little to decaying life sat on the side of your house, it was more a puddle than a pond.

Ranboo sighed, getting comfortable in your bed. You walked outside taking a deep breath of the air. It smelt like an abandoned cabin with grass growing through the cracks of the wood.

Your eyes looked at the sky then down at the ground, they traveled around the landscape while unlocking enormous amounts of nostalgia.

A wave of buzzing snapped you out of the trance. You looked at your phone.

~ Incoming Call From... ~
Sam

"Hello, Sam" "Hi..." Sam's voice was weird it wasn't striking like normal. He kept pausing and wavering his words. "So..how are you?" "I'm good. How are you doing Sam? Any new Redstone projects?"

You kicked around some pebbles waiting for an answer. Sam was quite cocky when it came to building tough projects so you were expecting a 20 minutes speech or explanation.

So when the plain "No not really" came through, you knew something was off. You kicked around some pebbles, slowly walking into the forest waiting for something to say to come to mind.

"Y/n....- How is it? With your parents?" You shrugged, "Weird. It's not like I'm a kid anymore" You chuckled, stepping on different colored leaves. The crunchy sounds make it more tempting to follow the path of scattered leaves.

The childish joy came to a stop. "Sam, you do know I'm not coming back right?" It was almost as you could hear a chuckle but it wasn't from Sam.
Then again it might be the trauma and PTSD.

You stopped at a tree stump. "Yes I know that but hopefully you'll visit. Well..that's all I was calling for, bye Y/n" "Bye" You waited for him to hang up. Another long moment of silence passed by. All that could be heard was the strong blowing wind and the comforting sound of his breathing.

"Sam...." "Y-Yeah..um sorry," He said that but remained silent. You scooted some leaves off the tree root, making a sitting place. You laid your head against the oak wood. Your eyes even started to get heavier.

"I miss you"
"I miss you too"

You missed everything about the place even some of the wars. As traumatic as it was, it was still nice. You even learned how to shoot a bow and enchant weapons quickly. You quietly laughed when you remembered you almost hitting Carl (Techno's horse) with a rogue arrow.

"Are you eating well?" "Yes. I've probably grown 30 more pounds since I've been here" "What about staying hydrated?" "Yes" "What about sleep?" "Yes, I'm doing fine. Are you going to ask about my blood pressure next?"

The conversation was over, right? We both said bye so why does it feel so easy to connect right back into place. Sam kept pestering you about your health before saying goodbye again.

You set your phone down. The sun was on the edge of going down and the sky was practically dark pink. You closed your eyes once more, hoping for a peaceful relaxing time.

While in doing so you created a fake scenario in your mind. It had Alyssa in it. She was the only one besides Sam (+Dream) who knew of Ranboo and your parents. She was a shoulder to lean on, always praising you for doing your best and caring for the SMP like it was family.

A deep voice cleared their throat. Your eyes flew open to the new voice. Your heart was pounding with questions and slight fear.
