The model in front of the backdrop prepared for the photoshoot was focused on her poses when a crashing sound distracted everyone in the room, their heads turning to a red-haired woman tripping over cables. Gigi didn't feel bad to let out a little laugh as the woman also seemed to be amused by her own clumsiness while the photographer rubbed his head, ordering everyone to take a quick break.

Gigi walked to the table to get her phone and busy herself for the meantime, and she was about to grab it when her eyes met with the red-haired woman's, staring into the smiling ones even after the harsh fall seconds ago. She let out a soft chuckle and picked her phone up as the other woman also approached the table, putting the folder in her hand down before she leaned down to clean her knees just as clumsily as before. Gigi observed her, and she didn't fail to notice it.

"Yes, I'm new here. No, I don't know my way around yet. If that's all?" she said, looking up at the taller woman with an annoyed but kind smile on.

Gigi didn't mind her words, only looking at her with a smile as she defended herself, "I can help you if you want. I basically grew up around sets."

"Yeah, no, I don't like models," the red-haired woman answered, but Gigi wasn't certain if she was joking or not. She still had a smile on, enjoying the little talk they got to have, "Plus, I'm just an assistant, I'm usually not here."

"Yeah, my only advice would be to look out for the cables actually," the model answered, and this time, Crystal was intrigued by her. She was invisible around models, or just someone to bring water in as if she was their assistant, so it was a nice change for her to see one joking with her and not about her. "I'm Gigi, and I assume you're 'just an assistant'."

Crystal rolled her eyes playfully, "It's Crystal. Are you new here?"

"Why? Did I change your mind about models suddenly, Crystal?" Gigi answered with the same playful tone, emphasizing her name.

"I haven't seen you before. I was going to be nice and offer to show you around the city, but you reminded me how much I hate your kind," Crystal joked and made the stunning woman standing before her laugh. Then the photographer called for everyone to go back to their positions, making both women glance at him before locking eyes again.

"I'll be around for a few days. Let's see if I can change your mind about my 'kind'," Gigi said with an added wink before walking back to where she was needed. She wasn't sure what was so enchanting about the dark brown eyes, or the big beautiful smile that made her so invested to interact at least once more before she left for another city. Nevertheless, it was a long while after she was last interested in someone this way, and she was more than excited to explore this new feeling.

It was finally the day of the scheduled photoshoot, the two driving early to the site to prepare as Gigi was doing two jobs that whole day, styling her own clothes as well as being the feature model. She woke up feeling refreshed and excited, the scene seemingly taken from the book of their past as the two arrived at the set, just like before.

The whole thing went incredibly well, the black-haired model feeling much more comfortable as the photographer ordered her around for some poses. It helped that the last few days were going cool with them, just the two spending much more time with each other without even bickering or wanting to yell at each other for what seemed to be their distant past. Each other's company was a bliss, Gigi feeling more grateful to Crystal on how she got her the modelling job whilst also getting a chance to spend more time with her and being a friend. It was something she never knew she would actually get, knowing all the hatred and pain they caused each other over the past months.
