~Everything went wrong~

Nandini woke up rubbing her eyes and saw Manik sitting on the bed beside her.She hugged his hand and kept her head on his shoulder.

Manik smiled and closed his laptop "ghar nahi jaana jaan?"he asked and Nandini responded with a  "hum."

"Baby get freshnup in the washroom and then we will leave its already 7."Manik said and Nandini nodded and went in washroom.

Soon Nandini came out and both went home.They greeted Ronit,Rohini and Mukti and everyone had their dinner.After that all went to sleep.

One day before Mukti's birthday

Mukti gave herself a final touch before stepping out of Malhotra Mansion.She was going to meet Abhi and she had informed about this to Manik and Nandini already.

She reached the cafe where she messaged Abhi to come and giving her car keys to wallet she entered the cafe searching Abhi but when her eyes fell on Abhi her eyes widened and tears came out of her eyes.

She saw a girl was sitting close to him pulling his cheeks and time-to-time kissing it.

She went towards Abhi and said in a loud voice "GOOD BYE." While Abhi and the girl stood there confused but Abhi knew Good by means something has happened.

He hurriedly went towards her and held her hand but she jerked it off and getting into the car left for Malhotra Mansion.

Manik and Nandini were sitting in the living room whereas Ronit and Rohini went to attend a friend's daughter marriage.

Mukti parked the car and dashed into the house while Manik and Nandini were confused with her behaviour.They saw tears in her eyes and they both felt something was wrong.

Manik's possessiveness about his sister grew up and he went running towards her."What happened Mukti?Why are u crying bacchha?" He asked and Mukti wiped her tears.

"Nothing bhai aankh mai kuch chala gya."saying this she ran to her room and locked it.

Nandini went running behind her and knocked the door."Mukku kya hua baby.Tum thik to ho na?"Nandini asked.

"Kya thik Nandini vo ro rahi hai.Kaise thik hogi vo?Tumhe samajh nahi ata.And I tell u agar tumhare bhai ne kuch kiya hoga na.To I swear I will not him."Manik lashed out from behind and Nandini widened her eyes.

She was hurt by his words but choose to keep quite as she knew if she will speak  now it will lead them towards an argument but for now her priority is Mukti.

"Peter bring the spare keys of Mukti's room."Nandini instructed and the servant brought it within seconds.

She opened the door and went in to see Mukti sleeping on the bed covering herself with duvet.

Manik went towards her and pulled the blanket to which Mukti got up and Manik cupped her face.

"Kya hua bacchha tell ur bhai na,Abhimanyu ne kuch bola?"he asked but Mukti nodded her head in a no and said "No bhai aisa kuch nahi hai mai vaha gayi thi pr Abhimanyu ko koi important kaam aa gaya so mai vapas aa gayi pr aate vakt aankh mai kuch chala gya isliye mere aankh se pani nikal raha tha."

Manik knew she was telling lie but he knew she will not tell this immediately.So he dropped the idea and went away without even sparing a glance at Nandini.

Nandini sat beside Mukti and cupped her face."kya hua Mukti tum apne bhabhi ko nahi batayogi."Nandini asked and Mukti hugged her and burst into tears.

Nandini rubbed her back to sooth her and gave her water."sshh ab batao kya hua?"Nandini asked and Mukti looked down.

"Vo jab mai cafe pohochi Abhi vaha ek ladki ke saath baitha tha aur vo ldki usse kiss kr rhi thi."Mukti concluded and Nandini asked "lips le?"

"Nahii cheeks pe."Mukti immediately answered and Nandini sighed.

"Tumne bhai se poocha ki vo ldki kon thi?"Nandini asked and Mukti lowered her eyelashes.

"No.Maine use Good bye kaha aur chali aayi."Mukti said and Nandini glared her.

"Tumhe pata hai vo ldki kon hai?Vo ldki meri aur bhai ki behen hai jo abhi kuch din pehle aayi hai aur vo bhai ki tumhare feelings ke baare mai jaanti thi isliye vo tumse milna chahti thi aur isliye vo aaj bhai ke saath aayi thi."Nandini reasoned while Mukti mouth was open.

"Lekin aapko kaise pta?"Mukti asked and Nandini showed her phone."Bhai ki call aayi thi ki tumne unhe milne bulaya hai aur vo Anita ko apne saath le jaa rahe hai kyunki vo tumse milna chahti hai."

"Oh freak ye maine kya krdiya bhabhi.O my god.Mai kya kru Abhi."Mukti freaked out but Nandini made her quite and said "Abhi kuch mat kaho.Just message him sorry and invite him for ur birthday and tell ur feelings to him."

Mukti hugged Nandini and said many thank u's and finally messaged Abhi.

Nandini got up and went to her room to see Manik pacing here and there.She remembered the words he said to her and tears made their way out of her eyes.

She without saying anything went in washroom and cleaning her tears washing her face she came and that time she received a call.

"Nandu I dont know Mukti ko kya ho gaya vo aayi aur mujhe good bye bolke chali gyi.I swear Nandu maine kuch nahi kiya."Abhi said on the phone and Nandini sighed.

"Its okay bhai,Mukti aapse gussa nahi hai vo kuch misubderstanding ho gayi thi to..isliye usne aisa behave kiya and apko uska message mila hoga na kal birthday hai uska aapko invite kiya hai usne.Aapko pakka ana padega."Nandini said on the phone and Manik and Abhi quietly listened to her talks.

"Acchha tu vo sab chod tu thik hai na.U seem low.Kuch hua kya?"Abhi asked and Nandini closed her eyes letting the tears flow out of her eyes.

"Everything went wrong Bhai."She said and cut the call while Abhi was confused and worried for her.

Manik without saying anything went to Mukti's room and asked her "what happened?"

Mukti looked down and narrated him everything.Manik sighed and kissing her head telling her to slove her problems went to his room.

He stood infront of the door and thought "How can u do that Manik,seriously Nandini pe chillaya tu?Uski kya glti thi aur to aur use itna hurt krdiya bina baat jaane.Shame on u."
