~Its not easy~

Manik opening the door went in to see Nandini sleeping facing her back.He sighed and feeling hell guilty he went and sat infront of her.

He felt more guilty when he saw dried tear marks on her face.He softly kissed her forehead and said "I m sorry."

He went to his side and slept holding Nandini's saree pallu's end.His sleep was far away as she was not sleeping close to him.

He sighed and tried to sleep and slept after some an hour of tossing and turning.

It was 11:50 when the alarm rang and Nandini got up and Manik groaned.Nandini sighed but smiled a little when she saw Manik holding her saree pallu and sleeping with mouth open.But soon his word's hit her and she made an poker face.

She freed her saree pallu and went to wake up Ronit and Rohini and soon Cabir with Alya &Dhruv.

"Cabir can u please go and wake up Manik?"Nandini asjed and Cabir sighed as he knew about Manik's behaviour.

He nodded and soon came with Manik.They all went to Mukti's room and opened the door as she never locks her door.

Nandini opened the door and everyone saw Mukti sleeping cutely hugging her pillow.

Nandini went and sat beside her."Happy Birthday Mukti."she whispered and Mukti slowly opened her eyes to see Nandini sitting beside her with a cake.

"Happy Birthday Mukti."Everyone shouted and Mukti closed her ears.

"Arghh guys why are u shouting."Mukti asked irritated and everyone smiled sheepishly.Mukti smiled looking at them but got excited like a kid when she saw the cake.

"Bhabhi cake aapne banaya na?"Mukti asked and Nandini nodded.

"Itne kam samay mai itna hi ban paya but aaj shaam ki evening party ka cake mai khud tumhare liye banaungi vo bhi bada wala."Nandini said with a smile but Mukti laughed.

"Bhabhi agar vo bada hoga to ye kya hai.I mean ye bhi to itna bada hai and bada ho ya chota cake aapne itne pyaar se banaya hai so best hi hoga."Mukti said and everyone smiled.

"Acchha chlo ab cake cut kro mujhe bohot khaane ka man kr rha hai."Cabir said and everyone glared him.

Mukti cut the cake and was feeded by Rohini and Ronit and then Manik and Nandini and then Dhruv,Alya,Cabir.

She too fed the cake to everyone and soon the whole cake was emptied on her face.She got irritated but Nandini brought some wipes and cleaned her face.

Manik was again and again drowning in guilt seeing her care towards Mukti.How she made the cake for her.How she was cleaning her face. Everything.

Mukti thanked Nandini and everyone went to their room as it was quite late and tomorrow they have lots of work to do.

Reaching the room Nandini went to washroom and cleaning her hands she went on her side of the bed and slept.While Manik sighed as he didnt get any chance to talk to her.She was ignoring him.

He too slept like before.

Next mroning Nandini got up and completely ignoring Manik who was staring at her went to freshnup.She wore a saree and went down and greeting Rohini she went to prepare breakfast.

Everyone came down to have breakfast and having it all got busy in making Mukti's birthday the best.Manik was busy whole day in preparations so he didnt get time to have a talk with Nandini.

Ishita,Raman and Abhi came in and Ronit,Rohini moved to welcome them.They hugged each other and went in.

Many guests were present with media just for a glimpse of Mukti as she is The Ronit Malhotra's daughter and The Manik Malhotra's sister and also one of the best fashion designer.

Soon Mukti came in looking like a princess came from heaven.She stood in the middle and everyone came and were wishing her and she was thanking them polietly.

Manan's room:
Manik was sitting on the bed ready waiting for Nandini.Soon Nandini came out looking breathtaking and Manik's heart fluttered seeing her.

Nandini ignoring him was going towards door but Manik held her hand and pulling her he took some kajal from her eyes and gave a dot behind her ear.

He took her hand in his and went to the living room where the party has been organised.

Nandini watched his all actions silently and followed him.

Soon Manik got busy with all the guests and Nandini got busy with Navya and Neha as she had met them after many days.

Nandini was glowing but her eyes missed that spark.Manik too was looking breathtaking making all the girls there go gaga over him but his smile was missing.He was just smiling for the sake.

Manik was all the time looking at Nandini who was just fake smiling.He went towards the drinking counter and ordered one wine.

He drank it and thought "Manik u have to do something ur jaan is so upset with u.Think think,what think u dont know anything else rather than talking to her.Please Nandini just once look at me.Pleasee."He said and a drop of tear fell from his eyes but it was catched by someone and she rubbed it with her thumb.

"Nandini."Manik whispered but she again ignored and ordered a wine for herself and Neha and went from there.While Manik sighed and looked away.

Soon it was the cake cutting time and Mukti was shocked seeing the cake.

She cut the cake and fed everyone.Everyone distributed their gifts and Mukti's happiness knew no bounds.Soon guests started leaving and Mukti took Abhi to the special setup she has done for him.

"Abhi I don't know how this happened and I will tell u first I m not much expressive about my feelings.Ok.So I LOVE U."she said and Abhi chuckled.

"I LOVE U 2 Pagli."Mukti smiled to fullest and hugged him.She also told him about the morning's incident.

He chuckled at her foolishness and cleared her confusion.Soon both went in and informed all the youngers about them and all were happy.

Manik was happy for his sister as she was smiling all the way and Nandini was happy for her bhai and sister-in-law.
