Rohini stopped Manan and Naisha at the doorstep and informed Mukti to bring aarthi ki thaal.She did the aarthi and welcomed them in.Nandini's cheeks which were always shiny and puffy were having dried tear marks.Her beautiful smiled which could make anyone smile was faded.Her facial expressions and body showed that she was tired.
Nandini took Naisha from Manik without uttering a single word."Maa mai room mai jaa rahi hu aur Naisha ko ointment laga ke sula dungi.Aur aap sab log lunch ke lijiye lunch ready hai,mai nahi khaungi.Mujhe bhuk nahi."Nandini said and Rohini could just nod at her.All others just looked at her sadly going away.While Manik was in his own land,he didn't even noticed Nandini going and this hurted Nandini a lot more than anything.
Reaching the room Nandini laid Naisha on bed who was fast asleep.The years which were threatening to fall anytime couldn't control themselves and fell like a heavy downpour from Nandini's eyes.She with shaking hands took the ointment and slowly applied it on her burns.Naisha clutched Nandini's nupitial chain in her hand and Nandini smiled a little.She put the ointment back and blew air on her burns.And soon sleep took over her bcoz of excessive crying and tiredness.
Downstairs Rohini suggested everyone to freshnup and come down for lunch.All nodded at her and went to freshnup.Manik unlocked the room door and his eyes fell on Nandini and Naisha who were sleeping peacefully clutching each other.He went near them and kissed Naisha's forehead.He looked at Nandini and tried wiping away her dried tear marks.He kissed her forehead too and went to get fresh.
All met down except Nandini and Naisha."Maa Nandini lunch nahi kregi?"Manik asked and everyone looked at him in shock.Didn't he listen what she said sometime ago."Nahi usne kaha vo thak gayi hai aur lunch krne nahi aayegi.Tu apna kaam kr mai Nandini ko khila dungi."Rohini said coldly,she had noticed Manik's behaviour all the time.Manik frowned on her tone but replied."Are kyu mai hu na aap mujhe uska lunch de dijiye mai khila dunga use."Manik said but Rohini refused and said she will make Nandini eat.Abhi was happy Nandini got such a caring mother-in-law.
Manik didn't understand but he let it be for the time being while Cabir and Arya just shook their head at their idiot friend.All completed the lunch but Manik just ate a single piece and left saying he is not hungry.Manik was sitting on the terrace when Nandini came there and saw Manik.She sat beside him and Manik looked at her but didn't say anything.
"I m sorry."Nandini said looking down hurt and tears clearly visible in her voice while Manik looked at her dumbfounded."Why r u saying sorry jaan?"Manik asked while now it was Nandini's turn to look at him dumbfounded."Vo meri vajah se Nia ko ye sab."Nandini fumbled and Manik shook his head."Bas bas ye sab tumhari galti nahi hai aur tumhe laga isliye mai tumse gussa ho jaunga?"Manik asked and Nandini nodded.
"While will I jaan?Mai jaanta hu ye sab tumhari galti nahi hai samjhi?I know it was an accident.To u don't blame urself."Manik said and Nandini looked down."To why didn't u talk to me from that incident?"Nandini asked and Manik shook his head in disbelief."A lot was going in my mind Nandini.Kuch samajh nahi aa raha tha kya kru?Sab everything looked like it was all messed up.Nai khona chahta tha nahi tumhe aur nahi Nia ko.Tum dono meri jaan ho Nandini aur agar tum dono ko kuch hogaya to mai nai jee paunga."Manik spoke his heart out and Nandini hugged him.
"I m sorry maine tumhe galat samjha pr tumne mujhse ek baar bhi baat nahi ki aur meri taraf dekha bhi nahi isliye mujhe laga tum mujhse naraaz ho.Aur u get this straight in ur mind tum mujhe aur Naisha ko kabhi nahi khoge.We are always with u."Nandini spoke over his heart and Manik hugged her even more tighter."I m sorry too mujhe jab tumhare saath hona chahiye tha to mai apne hi dukh mai gum tha."Manik said but Nandini sshhed him and both sat there in silence hugging each other.
"Tumne lunch kiya?"Nandini asked and Manik shook his head in no.Nandini swatted his hand and asked "Why?Kyu nahi kiya?"Manik made a bad face and said "haa to tumne bhi kaha kiya hai?Mujhe pata hai tum naraaz ho us incident se pr jaan khana nahi khaogi to Nia ka dhyaan kaise rakhogi?"Nandini nodded and both went down to eat something.
After eating both went in room and Nandini went to fresh up while Manik sat beside Naisha who was steering a little in her sleep.Manik carassed her hair and Naisha woke up."Papa."She called out cutely rubbing her eyes and Manik smiled."Yes papa ki jaan."Manik said and Naisha smiled."Mumma kaha hai?"Naisha asked and Manik replied saying she is in washroom."Baby aapko kahi dard ho raha hai?"Manik asked and Naisha nodded."Yahapl dald ho laha hai."Naisha said pointing towards the burnt area on her leg and Manik smiled.
He took the cream from the side table and made Naisha agin lay down.He applied the ointment gently and blew air at it."Papa ki princess strong hai na aur aapke papa ne ye aapko laga diya na ab dard nahi hoga."Manik said and all Naisha could do was nod at him.Nandini was admiring the two from the washroom door and thanked God the nth time for sending these two angels in her life.
